Hi kann mir jemand verraten wo ich für mein Qtek 9100 win mobil 5 einen tom tom go Navigator bekomme
It's worth noting that this is an English speaking forum but if I read your request correctly you’re asking will TomTom 5 work on a Wizard? (Or are you asking if you can link the Wizard and a TomTom Go, it’s not clear to my very rusty language skills )
If it is about running TT5 the answer is a resounding yes. Just rolled out 40 to Wizard users and it really is a case of copy the included SD to a MiniSD, insert MiniSD, activate, pair with BT GPS and just use.
If your request was more around acquiring a less then legit copy of TomTom there are other places better suited for that sort of thing then here.

Yeah....TomTom GO is a stand-alone machine, so you can not get it....easy!
TT5 works fine on my Cingular 8125
in memory there used to be a toggle to adjust storage and program memory, my storage is almost 4MB i cannot install anything, although program memory is 53 MB
kindly any help will be appreciated
You cannot do that any more. It's a relic of when the storage space and the RAM were shared. The biggest problem was that if the phone lost power, you'd lose everything.
There is a RAM disk in many ROMs that essentially performs the same function. In WM5, the area once known as "Storage" in WM2003 is now the main file system. The rest is RAM, and 128 meg is a lot for this phone, so with a RAM disk some of it can be used to install programs. Like WM2003 however, this area is lost should you lose power completely.
1) opera mobile sucks surfing different web pages. It redirects you on certain pages to their mobile versions. This sucks as hell. For example spiegel.de will redirect you to a mobile version which is not readable in opera, the full version is.
So ist there any chance to prevent this?!
I´m assuming you are using the o2-de Version.
The Data-Hotline told me that there will be a Opera Update next Week...
my opera version (htc stock diamond with bepe's rom) doesn't redirect to mobile versions of websites. perhaps you can update to a newer version?
@jkb770, talk in english completely, please! i also do not have big problems recieving umts/hsdpa signals, and the battery lasts MUCH longer than 6 hours, perhaps you should configurice your device better, try cooked roms or wait for an update by o2, but this will need some time.
or simply bring your device back and purchase another one without all the "asia crap" - just like like wlan, gps, vga, hsdpa, wm 6.1, tf3d, gsensor, lightsensor etc. -you mentioned.
perhaps this trick will help you getting more satisfied?
sorry for being sarcastic. tell me, where's the problem with your phone? here are so many people who can help you and many threads in this forum to give you just that device you wanted when you bought it!
ok thanks for the information.
1) yes I have an german O2 device, UMTS/HSPA work quite well. I think it depends on the coverage of the UMTS net. Do you live in an bigger city? The battery last long enough and definetly more than 6 hours. But it depends on what you are doing with your device.
my device works quite well with the original ROM, no need for me to flash so far.
thanks for the information on opera. where should the new version be release? can you keep me posted?
2) can someone tell me how to bring up the carrier picture to my header?
The only thing I need is a new Radio ROM.
Or maybe its an Antenna Issue..
Tried it on two different Diamonds... The Reception level is always around 15dB weaker than on a Tytn for instance.
As long as there is no one here for cooking a new Radio ROM my Problem couldn´t be solved because the power Drain results from the countless switchings from GSM to 3G and Back.
And NO i dont want to manually switch from GSM to 3G mode before every Data Connection with tolerable speed...
P.S.: 3G Coverage around here is excellent..... my E51 always shows full Bars (-87dBm up) while the Diamond creeps around with 1-2 Bars (-102dBm)
o2 says that the Opera Update will be available from July 17th.....

dunno if that works, just installing the newer version, worst case would be a hard reset...

If you go to about:config in opera you can change the user agent to firefox or ie. I found this solved this same issue.
seemed to work for me, just entered as new user agend: Mozilla/5.0
thanks!
hello,
after trying to install android on my old tytn II without any succes, i decided to reflash it to windows mobile 6.1 original rom.
since, i have a message that free memory is low
for programmes : total 85 mo, used 33 and free 52.
for storage: 19 mo, used 8 mo and free 11 mo. usually, it is about 110 mo of total storage memory!
is there is any tool or methode that can format, ckeck bad blocks?
any way to recover theses bad blocks or the phone is no more good for anything
thanks
Hello,
I am wondering to see that in the forum of “specialist of smartphone” there is no proposition for resolving such a problem!
However, for those who have the same problem, I tell you that I found the solution after 15 days searching in Google.
Just look here, it works for Kaiser. I used the same RUU_signed.nb renamed preflash.nbh then radio.nbh
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7193489
Now storage memory is 118.80 and 110.52 is free.
Hope that will help anyone
I have the Teclast x98 air 3g 64GB, and those 64gbs of memory are split in two. half for windows and half for android. The thing is i don't need the android and i will probably never use it. Can i just format the android paritions through partition manager and merge them, so i will have C:| and D:\?
