hey guys is there any app that will recalibrate the touch screen of the nook? I'm currently having trouble touching any buttons on the left corner of the screen.

Hi folks, the lights on the capacitive buttons on my nexus 1 doesn't seem to work properly . They're dead, until I adjust the screen brightness to 0 then increase it, but as soon as the phone is locked they go dead, and I have to repeat the above. is there a fix for this?, tried googling but only seem to find a fix for when the actual buttons have issues.. Any help will be appreciated

Does the same area of the screen work in landscape you can test using multitouch tester from market.
And I think its only old resistive touch screens that need calibaration.
I'm not sure I've ever seen calibaration tool for capacitive screens.

Yes seems to work as expected in landscape, used check screen to check for dead pixels, alls good, installed a t9 keyboard and it works great, just have to use this one, no big worries, thanks for the replies

Can someone help me with any APK or fix which would make the stylus work as expected ? I am running ICS and the stylus reacts before touching the screen

that's a hardware problem of the s pen itself. the tip is likely stuck/ and putting pressure on the internal sensor.
I have two(stylus) of them and when you take it closer to the screen I do see an arrow. So not sure if that could be the issue here...
There is no app that will fix a hardware problem.

Hi!
My Search and Back buttons are noticebly brighter than other two. Does it indicate some problem with phone? Should I start worry?
Thanks!

Dude... my home button is more dim then the rest...
Looks like we got a quality issue
Thanks!!!
As long as it doesn't affect the rest of the phone, I am fine...

Hi guys,
On my tf700 and maybe due to 4.2.1, I could lock the bar at the bottom of the screen with the home button etc. On so didn't make any accidental touches during games etc.
But can't find how to do it on tf701 / 4.3 is it still possible? Keep hitting it while playing Fifa 14!
Thanks.
