What between 0 and 28%

hi,
my update prozess crash at 28 percent (australian wm6 test rom). but after a hrrd reset my trinity boot normal with the old system... only the boot screen is new? What's the matter? is this normal?

This is a very common problem due to the protection of the Dopod Rom through its SPL, in order to avoid flashing on other devices.
Just search the forum with the key-words, let's say: "stuck at 28%" and you'll find all the informations and tips you are looking for.

problem screen image is vibrating

Hello,
I've flashed my Diamond with bElite 0.97 premium (& radio rom .5), and now, my screen image is vibrating. This is very light, as if pixels are randomly moving very fast from 1 pixel to another in an horizontal move. Like a refresh rate problem, or a screen hardware problem (overheat ?).
My diamond worked perfectly during 15 days before this flash.
I tryed to flash the 0.97 basic, slightly better, but still vibrating.
Does anybody have this problem ?

I removed the battery during 10 minutes, and it seems really better now.
May be overheating with flashing.... strange... very strange
During flashing, brightness seems set at maximum, may Diamond didn't like to be a maximum brightness a long time ...

Thought it was a bootloader problem with SOME diamonds.
Try a (newer?) bootloader.

No, I use 1.40 Olinex.
If I flash bootloader, storage will be erase, no ?
Do you know a bootloader which can correct that ?
My solution is simple : when it arrives, I turn off the screen, and turn it on 1 second later... and everything is ok.

does it happen when you diamond is plugged ?
It happens for me too, and i think it is after a reboot (soft) while it is connected to my PC.

this exact same happend to me after flashing my phone. i fixed it by re-flashing with a different spl. it's something to do with the screen updates in some of the devices.
SPL that worked for me OliNex Unsigned HardSPL 1.37 , then i ran the ROM flash again and all fine..

Yep - same here. Fixed with Olinex SPL 1.37.

HTC DIAMOND dead

hi all
sorry for my english,
I have a HTC Diamond Operator ORANGE, I flashed with the official ROM and I sim unlocked it and since it works flawlessly.
except yesterday when I contact a person with such, it was closed at once and since it does not open but now I have to tweak a little open but I do see lines everywhere in green or red and sometimes a few points across, not a permanent screen always different so I thought that my screen is a grill or any time by removing the battery and leaving the CPP 's Opens and I could see the screen HTC Diamond and the home screen of Windows Mobile but after it freezes over.
while searching on your wonderful forum I found a tutorial and I tried handling but no sign of the fact I had access to the BootLoader flash but nothing impossible (i can't flash my htc)
sometimes I see a gray screen sometimes a black screen with dots sometimes vibrates every 30sec, frankly I do not know what to do
in bootloader i see this informations

but i can't terminate the flash, i have error 270 every time, I'm desperate, I do not know what to do he shows no sign of life and I can not access the internal memory to flash memory or access usb with activsync

go into Bootloader mode (reset and volume down) the connect to your PC via USB and try flashing a ROM (any).

Diamond won't turn on!

when i connect to computer its shows usb i have done hard reset and installed new ROM from HTC website din't work for me i also have tried Hard-SPL olinex version but they stop on 0% dn't allow me to upload to the phone for some reason
I HAVE PRESSED THE RESET BUTTON AND REMOVED THE BATTERY. STILL NOTHING WORKS. NOT TOUCH SCREEN OR BUTTONS. IT WONT EVEN TURN OFF from boot loader WITH OUT REMOVING THE BATTERY...
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT to do step by step

hey whats up guys. im new this whole XDA thing but i think its pretty cool. anywho i ran into a little conundrum and was wondering can ANYBODY me with it. ok I tried to flash my htc TILT 2 and i followed the steps well atleast i tohught i did and now im stuck! i flashed it using hard spl and then i installed the new radio ( 4.49.25.05) and i was gonna put the Energy rhodium with sense 2.5 just to try sum new things out. sumthing went wrong along the way and i started my phone back up and now im stuck at the AT&T world phone logo. it says B 80/ R 4.49.25.05/ G 61.42tc.25.31H/ D ENERGY. now i did soft reset to try and relock it back to stock but i think its because i have the updatede radio and i cant connect to active sync or anything. on the screen with all the colors this is what it was. RHOD300 32M MI-BC/ SPL-0.79.0000/ MICROP-RHODIUM (LED) vA/ microp-rhodium (key) V4/ TURBO HW/TURBO SW/ TP MFG DATA

You have to install the hard SPL. There is a thread on how to do that; I suggest you ask the question there. You tried to flash custom software without performing the hard SPL fix.
EDIT: With that SPL, you should be able to extract the .nbh file from the released AT&T ROM, then flash from the MicroSD card. There are instructions in "NOOB" flashing forum.

thanx man. but i really couldnt find anything on how to reset spl. i think its not working because i dont have the stock radio for my tilt 2. but idk im confused cause on the BL screen it says SPL 0.79.0000 and when i start up my phone it says i have radio 4.49.25.05/ D Energy. but the phone just satys at the AT&T logo screen

It sounds like you've taken HardSPL off, so that's why it won't boot. You have a custom ROM but no HardSPL, so the stock SPL won't let it boot.

thanks for the info bro. i fixed it hours ago. i foundd a stock rom and it just started everything over
