I asked the Motorola tech support, the answer is NO, so I just wonder. Since the Razr has Apt-X, so I am thinking there's some possibility the Atrix HD may have it too.
Anyone can confirm this?

Hi,
I have a Motorola Droid Bionic (Android Version 4.0.4).
I got this phone whilst in the US but am now living in the UK.
I have read a lot of stuff about using Radiocomm, patches and other things to get it working over here with my UK sim but haven't had any luck so far. I think a lot of this is due to not completely understanding most of the lingo that is used in these forums.
Could someone please inform me of the easiest way to get it working. I know I probably sound a bit stupid to a lot of you on here but I would really appreciate any help that can be given.
Thanks.
As per information till date, DROID Bionic doesn't work with Asian & European GSM band.....
Reason locked by firmware...

Actually, the Bionic should work fine on UK GSM/HSDPA networks. There's a lengthy thread on the process, and yes, Radiocomm is part of the process.

the easiest way is still complex. And some of Bionic cannot work with GSM.I am in China. If Bionic's production date is in 2012,it can work with CDMA1x/EVDO only.If 2011,ok with EVDO/GSM/HSPA.
Hi All, Trying to decide between plunking down the dough for a Moto X or just picking up a Atrix HD.
I'm on AT&T. I need 4G LTE, good RF performance (data+voice), as I tether a lot, but I don't need a lot of performance out of the phone otherwise (I don't play games nor use it for anything "intensive").
I plan to keep the phone for a while, as I don't see anything out there that's really wanting me to upgrade--and if they keep making phones with larger screens (something I totally don't need), eventually I'll just buy an ultrabook and stick a cell phone radio in it .
Other suggestions for a Moto phone would be appreciated too. I don't know if a carrier unlocked Razr could be used on AT&T.
I understand the phone can be rooted and bootloader has been unlocked, please let me know if I'm mistaken.
Thanks!
Carrier unlocked RAZR can be used on att and I'd either do that or get an Atrix. Basically the same phone. And with the atrix the bootloader is unlockable the RAZR is too as long as it hasn't taken the update. Unlike the moto X. Plus you can stick the MAXX battery in the RAZR or atrix and a SD card.

I see where there will be a kit kat upgrade for the atrix hd, but not the hd developers addition. Here is my question. What is the difference? And how do i tell which one i have?

If you bought it from a carrier, it's a regular Atrix HD. If you bought from Motorola's site, you'll know which one you bought. The developer's edition can have the bootloader unlocked and still be under warranty.

Okay. Great!. Thank you. I got it from ATT, so Im hoping for the kit kat upgrade (if it ever gets here).
Spoke to someone from the UK Motorola live chat, who seemed to confirm that an EU version of the Droid Turbo/Moto Maxx is/was in the works - I've attached a screenshot of the conversation.
Was going to get a Nexus 6, but now I think I'll hold out a bit longer...

Think it WAS in the works. Just had a small convo over twitter with Motorola and they said they dont currently have any plans for an international variant of droid turbo in Asia
I know I am a newb here. But why Post Moto Maxx info in Droid Turbo Forums. Can someone please explain this to me?

From a hardware standpoint, it is the same exact device. Sold in markets outside the US. Not to be confused with Droid Maxx from last year.

Except for the radios. No CDMA on the Maxx, right?
Sent from my XT1254
Someone will come along and correct me if I'm wrong but there are two variants, one with a CDMA radio (XT1224) sold on Verizon exclusively as the Droid Turbo and a GSM variant (XT1225) the Moto Maxx. The latter variant comes in two different enabled radio configurations, the one being sold currently in Brazil and Mexico and one that went through the FCC which is on sale in PR only for the moment.

also, we've asked mods for a forum specifically for the Moto Maxx and had no answer yet

As you requested: Verizon CDMA/LTE is XT1254
No one is going to do any real development on this device at this point so no need to waste two forums. There really isn't anything meaningful to talk about on XDA regarding the Turbo and the moto maxx doesn't have a big enough following. This has to be the most disappointing phone of 2014 from a development standout for users. no?
lol Thanks. I'm Maxx and already have everything I need with root. I would not have purchased the Turbo because of the bootloader. Been caught before with one that never unlocked and that was a lesson learned.

Develop apps, it is more rewarding than ricing out a phone and doesn't rely on root.
