Hey how r u guys , hope fine
i overclocked my galaxy to 1.3 when i was using Froyo 2.2
you know , So Zimage V4.4 Kernel , through Odin , and it worked just fine
but that kernel is not working with Cyanogenmod beta3 , i tried HCDR Kernel and it dosent work as well
when i open SETCpu it shows just 1000 , and Voltage control keep telling me that there is no kernel
I really love Cyanogenmod speed even when it beta , i want to see my galaxy fly by when it overclocking
so i need your help guys
With cm cpu scores about 4000 on quadrant, why do you need overclocking? Would you like to see the top of the android mountain? ))

Hummingbird + Optimized CM + High Overclock =/= Highest benchmark scores.
That area is for the Tegra2's and OMAP4400's to scuffle over, not to mention Orion or ST-Ericson.
Btw, the LG Star really makes the Nexus S look like a joke. And that PSPhone had better be an iPhone 4 murderer.
Dual cores, of course, will set a new altitude for the peak, and I'm looking forward to seeing Orion at work ))

[q] galaxy s plus gt-i9001
Hello to all!
Is there a lagfix for Galaxy S plus ? Is there anything for this phone, custom roms or at least some themes? I have searched this forum but nothing pops up. I would realy like to play with it like I did with galaxy s.... For now my old Galaxy S scores more points in quadrant standard than Galaxy S plus..

It's true that back battery cover made of metal or still plastic as in original galaxy s? If yes can you give some photos of it
Nope! My came with plastic back cover. It has a little different pattern, but still plastic...was expecting to be out of metal. Battery is 1650 mAh and the metal frame is in light chrome, not in black chrome like the gt-I9000.
Galaxy S Plus I9001 Q&A
Hello to all!
I'm looking for a custom theme for galaxy s plus. I didn't find any yet. I really like the Criskello theme for sgs 9000. Is it possible to use a theme that's created for gt-i9000 or can I break my phone with it? Can somebody help me please. Is there also someone that can tell me how to convert the data system to ext4?
First time ever i hear about a a gt i9001 .
How does it differ from the i9000 ?
Have you confirmed that custom roms for i9000 doesnt work for i9001 ?

wow nice thanks for photos! well at least its not so shiny and finger print magnet as original galaxy s back cover......Does back cover fits on original galaxy s?
The back cover is also shiny. Maybe the picture isn9t so good. The structure seems to be underneath a transparent glossy layer. So also not finger marks friendly. Cover fits the old galaxy perfectly. It's totaly same size and shape.
The difference between gt-i9000 and gt-i9001 is in processor speed and gpu.
I haven't confirmed that custom roms for gt-i9000 don't work. I do not have a full rom to flash it if anything goes wrong..
If you know someone that can help...more than welcome.
Does the Galaxy S plus have another CPU or it's the same but overclocked?
I'm not shure. In Quadrant standard under system information it says CPU: ARMv7 Processor rev 2(v7l) Max freq 1200MHZ cores 1, architecture 7, bogo mips 799.53 hardware GT-I9001 Board, revision 2
so they just increased the cpu hz to 1200, anything else different.
Battery 1650 mAh.......and GPU Qualcomm, Adreno (TM) 205. As far as I know nothing else..
No one??
How to root samsung galaxy s i9001 plus??????
Anybody????
firmware: 2.3.3
baseband: I9001BUKE2
kernel: 2.6.35.7- perf
[email protected] #2
buildnumber: gingerbread.BUkE5
How to root??
Please help nobody knows that...??
score is 1200++
my 3 button combo doesnt work
Can anyone help me??
WHats your quadrant score?
It cant be slower than a normal sgs unless your comapring to a rooted or custom sgs
Maybe i9000 roms will work on it, as long as you use kernels that allow you to O/c so you can match the speed
i 9001 the was missing the original galaxy s had but I forget what

Jp! My three buttons combo also doesn't work. Do not know how to get it in Download mode to flash the new firmware....
Hi,
I also had i9001 and if you cant enter download mode try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=879701
"adb reboot download" this command should help after you successfully installed SDK.
can we make a rom for ur mini with a kernel which can make ur mini work on a higher frequency above 800mhz i'm asking this because i saw that galaxy 3 which have almost the same specs can be overclocked to 1ghz?
and somthing else i found there how to make rom for odin from cwm and viceversa here is the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405041
even though it has same specs the kernels are different and currently mini roms are stable with 800 mhz frequency
If you can OC to 900 MHz and keep it running in that freq for daily use, sooner or later your CPU will be toasted since it will be too hot. 800 MHz should be high enough for most games.

i think 800 mhz is good for galaxy mini
don't try to overlock it over 800 mhz or else your sgm will don't work properly
sorry for bad english
i don't wanna overclock it more than 806 ii'm just asking is even possible
My mini doesn't even work properly over the 700 mhz, I think 900 mhz would be the killer of our mini's...
I'm sorry for my bad english...

You reall want to toast your Mini Board do ya?
Its dangerous ... the OC kernels ..
what for oc if you have problem with the battery, you know it that i think make you phone healthy is better
theres a thread that has stock rom with OC kernel..
just view this thread..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1464896
i was looking in the kernels of this HTC ONE and i see it donsent past of 450MHz when the S4 can overclock at 620MHz ... with no probelms i want this device and and i want to know if thers a kernel that i can use like the S4 ? ... overclock the GPU of this device taht higher and im sure is great because im coming from an S4 so is the Same CPU no? and the same GPU no? ... i just want to know
I'm interested too.
Try Elemental kernel:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249774
I haven't tried overclocking the One, happy with stock kernel; make sure you read and understand..best of luck

I use my Mini for Internet, Facebook, SMS, Music but no games. Im not sure if i should change my ROM/Kernel or even change my CPU max frequency.

You can take the max clock to 729 without any negative effects, but don't change kernel or anything, because you battery life will be decreased.
