Hi all,
Just bought a Z1 (Nova Launcher installed) and have noticed that when I'm on a call and bring up the keypad to make a selection (ie: 'Choose 1 for more options"), I cannot see the numbers that are being inputted. Nothing is visible. Thinking this might be the launcher (have had a couple issues with Nova Prime, including home-page icons deleting themselves at random).
Anyone seen this?

I just upgraded my CM from 10.1 to 11, but I'm having some trouble finding the home screen settings. Can anyone please tell me how to:
- Remove an icon from the home screen (long press to drag does not work, as the garbage can does not appear)
- Hide apps from the app screen (the app screen settings are missing from the phone settings)
- Choose the number of home screens available (it's 3 now, I can't find where to change this)
I have googled these questions but no luck so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi, does anyone know how to remove the hardware keyboard shortcuts? For example, when I push I and E on the keyboard at the same time when typing it opens up the Phone dialler program.
I'm on Cyanogenmod 10 if that makes any difference. I have had a look in settings and can't see anything obvious.

The settings for the shortcuts are under accessibility. I went through and removed them all because I had the same problem.
Thanks, looks like that is not an option in Accessibility for Cyanogenmod so I'll raise it with them.
I bought a B1-850 for my ageing mother (she's 91 years old), and she often accidentally re-arranges the shortcuts on her homescreen(s) by tapping them for too long. This also results in additional homescreens being created, with random shortcuts on them. As a consequence she has problems finding the apps and widgets that I've set up for her. I want to replace the launcher with one that allows the layout of the home screen to be locked (as well as disabling additional homescreens being created).
I tried Nova Launcher, but that frequently failed to respond to the home button (due to either a compatibility of performance issue maybe?), so that would have confused my mother too much. Can anyone recommend a launcher that works well on the B1-850, and which can be "locked down" to prevent accidental changes to the layout?

I have the Blackberry Keyone. LOVING the phone, it is absolutely great. The stock launcher is quite slick too, and has an amazing feature integrated - physical keyboard shortcuts. I can assign any key on my phone 2 shortcuts (press and long press) to open apps, compose sms, etc.
I was wondering if I could use Tasker to do something similar in a 3rd party launcher, namely Nova. The issue is, there is no root for this device (and probably never will be). Is it doable?

Dear All,
Immediately after updating my Note 9 to the latest firmware featuring the new One UI two panels appeared on the right and left of the lower mid of the screen, they are restricting any touch on the screen next to them and I couldn't figure there use except as a back button whenever I swipe on them.
I've tried to remove them with no luck. Anyone is facing the same problem?
Are those panels from the Samsung ONE UI or they are from the Nova launcher?
I've searched the web and couldn't figure a way to solve the problem, I've went thru the settings of both the phone and Nova launcher with no luck.
Your help would be very much appreciated!
