I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, I'm attempting to connect my Wii remote to my phone, unfortunately when I attempt to connect to my phone it requests a passcode. Is there a way to mood the bluetooth app or a way to fix/bypass this?

I have a Galaxy Note 3, rooted and running hyperdrive Rls6
Right out of the box (stock) I wasn't able to pair with the Jawbone mini jam box or any bluetooth headsets the devices wouldn't even show in the device list.
Rooted phone and put custom rom on and still have the same issue.
Yes I have connected all devices to 2 different S4s and to a Galaxy tab 3 they pair and connect without an issue
I mainly want to connect to my Jawbone mini jam box and Plantronics m55 headset

Anybody managed to connect the Gear & bluetooth handsfree on a non samsung device at the same time? Currently only one is allowed to be connected and if i receive a call while gear is connected, automatically the call is routed to the gear speaker phone and not on the phone.
I've been wondering if we can use the Bluetooth Auto Connect app (that we use on the _null ROM Gears) on our phones to prioritize the car bluetooth or a bluetooth headset over the Gear. I haven't tried yet, though, and that's obviously a solution with compromises. Subscribing...
Yes I would like to know if this is a possibility or tweak that can made.
I have my Gear (original) connected to my HTC One M8. Whenever I make\receive call from my M8 it automatically routes audio through to the gear. When it was linked to my S4 it was 'clever' enough to route audio to whichever device I accepted\dialled from.
Pretty sure it only works properly when using gear manager on [supported] touchwiz rom
I have a Galaxy A5 that I just purchased, and wrongly assumed that the Gear VR would work off the shelf with it. LOL.
I have an S8+ on the way, because I want to develop apps for the Gear VR. The A5 handles cardboard VR just fine. When I try to pair it with the Gear VR controller, it just does not do anything. I figured it was blocked by Samsung on the A5, so I got my Kindle Fire out, tried to pair it with the controller, and it had no problem pairing.
I see that some people changed the label of the type of phone that is being used to install Gear APK files. I am guessing that the program that checks the phone version would be the same program, but I'm not sure. So, does anyone have any idea what service may be blocking the A5 from pairing with the controller? I want to stop the service if it is only to stop stuff like this.
When I touch the icon for the bluetooth controller, these programs process:
AR6K Async
com.sec.spp.push:RemoteDlcProcess
com.samsung.android.providers.context
com.samsung.android.app.watchmanagerstub
servicemanager
cfinteractive
ion_nonconfig
irq/570-SSP_Int
irq/5-bt532_ts_
There are others, but I think it might be one one of these, if anyone has any idea of what any of these do.
Hi I just got my old galaxy gear S1 sm-v700 out of the drawer after 18 months, reset it and then paired with my galaxy s6 edge. All looking good until I looked for apps....
Where have they all gone?! Clicking on galaxy apps store via the galaxy gear app brings up just a dozen or so apps, there used to be hundreds!
So I then thought I'd try pairing the watch with my bluetooth headset, only to find thats not happening either! Obviously I have bluetooth turned on for both watch and headset, but the visibility on watch is greyed out and wont let me turn it on, meaning my headset cant find it!
What happened, this used to be a fab watch, as it stands right now its just OK i guess.
I use Remote Phone (https://justremotephone.com) for handeling calls at work. Remote Phone uses bluetooth handsfree profile for the purpose of controlling my phone from the laptop.
When my phone is connected to my laptop with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, it can only connect to my BT headset using Input device and Contact sharing.
When my phone is connected to my BT headset or a BT-speaker with handsfree-support (e.g. my car) with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, my smartwatch (Gear S3) looses Phone audio (or disconnects).
When my phone is connected to my smartwatch (Gear S3) with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, it often fails to register and automatically connect to other known devices.
It would seem that the N8 Sirocco can not connect to multiple devices using Phone audio profile.
I have sendt an e-mail to Nokia support addressing this issue, and will post the answer here.
I'm still on Android 8.0.0, and hopefully this is a SW-problem that is corrected in 8.1.
I'm guessing there is not so many N8 Sirocco owners out there yet, but of the few that is out there, has anyone else experienced similar BT handling issues?
This might not be a problem with the N8 Sirocco, but a problem with BT handling on the Gear S3.....
i have a major BT connection issues with my GEAR s3. It doesnt pair at all. the process gets stuck on the galaxy and stars moving around and saying setting up your device. Any help on how to connect my gear s3?

Hi MrMastodon. Did you solve the topic? As I have similar issue with Nokia 8 and car BT device + GPS BT tethering...
I completely forgot to follow up, it turns out that the Galaxy Gear is known for causing exceptionally bad Bluetooth-performance when paired with non Samsung devices.. I sold it.
