Here is the 720x1280 resolution version of the Google Edition boot animation found on the HTC One Google Edition.
Just drag to the HTC_bootup zip to system/customize/resource/ with root explorer or whatever file manager you normally use and overwrite it when asked and then reboot.
OR flash the Flashable_Boot.zip via recovery.
And to change splash screen refer to below post.

I also added a flashable version.
Hi Kendosis, thanks for your work! I flashed the Flashable_Boot.zip in recovery. The bootanimation works flawless.
But I still get the Facebook logo right after the screen turns on. Then after a few seconds the animation starts.
Is there any chance to remove the Facebook logo? PS: My first is S-ON.
can anyone help me out here?

Look back at the original post I added a file called Splash Changer, just extract to desktop and follow the instructions at the bottom of the post. You may need to S-OFF to change the splash screen I'm not sure since I've never tried it with S-ON.

Can't help on the first...but the boot sound is system> etc> poweron.wav in file system if I remember correctly. Had mine deleted too long to remember exactly what it is called. Think it is limited to 7 seconds
.......
what are you editing the file with? if you are editing the file with notepad then it will not work.
I use notepad to make my desc.txt and it works fine...
I can't tell why this wouldn't be working... looks like everything is set up correctly.

good day.
Some quick splashes I made, you have to have ENG S-OFF to put it into your phone. Get phone into bootloader fastboot, and run commands: (googlesplash.img has to be in the same folder as fastboot.exe)
Code:
fastboot flash splash1 splashname.img
fastboot reboot

Anyone can help me, how to change splash screen (before bootanimation) for x8??
Ask doixanh or racht, they did it for their ROMs.
No one has changed the splash screen yet. I saw someone saying that is very difficult to edit that.
But in GingerDX, if you have a custom bootanimation, the GingerDX logo still appears after the white "Sony Ericsson" logo, and it was the same in racht´s Floyo 0.20 (but there, the hackdroid logo appeared.)
So there must be a way to edit it at least partially, because no one has removed or edited the white "Sony Ericsson" yet.
But better ask a dev.
simply edit framework for this.... not so hard to change
I mean. splash screen after white black "sony ericsson" logo and before bootanimation (splash screen "mod version")
That´s what we are talking about, the thing beetween SE´s logo and the bootanimation.

dude how to remove it??
did it need a command or something or just simply delete it by opening ramdisk.tar using 7zip????
Okay, I unlocked my Razr M and then found I was stuck with the ugly nag screen. So I set about to fix that. It turns our the fix is extremely simple and not very creative.
The original Logo.bin is actually a 1.7 MB file which is two images in one file. When you are locked the device reads the top portion of the image only and thus the M is shown, when you unlock the device it selects the bottom image in place of the M thus displaying the nag screen.
The solution is very simple. Create your own image or use the stock one provided below.
The image needs to be 540 x 540 and in linux (gimp) save your image as a raw file and that is all you need to do. When finished with your image just flash to your device using the following command
fastboot flash logo (logoname.img)
File can be downloaded here ----> http://aosp.us/?p=260
That is all you need and you are all done.

photoshop has built-in support for the .raw image extension, but gimp doesn't. how do you export an image with .raw extension in gimp then?

Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to extract the logo from original logo file in the OTA zip ?
The RAZR HD logo il a little bigger than this one, I would like to do the same.
Your file works on my phone, but too small.
Thank you
You can find in attachement the real size extracted from bootanimation.zip
Thank you for your help
I did it myself finally with photoshop.
Here is in attachement
Thank you
Is there a way to change the boot logo on the retail edition, having a locked bootloader? I know it was possible on the Droid x, bionic, and a few other moto devices, which makes me hope that its possible...
I don't think it is possible... the files are signed for locked bootloaders...
You can try, it will probably refuse to flash it.
Gave it a go and worked like a charm on the retail version...I'm loving it!
Has anyone tried this on their retail version, now that we can unlock? I hate that warning screen, and don't have the guts to try.
Edit: Nevermind it looks like some have tried with the retail version already before we could unlock anyway. Duh
