Hello, i've got today an S3 MINI here with a strange issue, the cellphone when using it normally from all sudden it reboots and starts a weird scenario that doesn't boots up until a charger is plugged, when this happens shows an 75% 80% battery level (aprox) and the device works for a few hours normally and then it drops again.
Tried FACTORY RESET, no go... What's the next step on the issue??
Thanks!

I think the battery is damaged
You have a bad battery. The same thing happend to me last month. If you pull out battery, you'll probably notice it's inflated a bit.

Ah, I have the exact same issue as the OP Mind you I don't see any inflation.
What would you recommend to order as a replacement?

Look closer or try to feel it with your fingers. Mine is barely visible
Or something else died in your battery. but if it can't hold charge, chargest fast and discharges even faster, restarts.. time to change the battery. They're not expensive luckaly

I have a g1 and it is rooted. I had everything going great then my wife took it over and now it will not show the battery. Its shows 0% even though the battery is charged. I have tried several batteries. I have since went from danger spl to regular. I have changed to several different roms I was going to try to unroot but it will not let me flash DREAIMG due to it says the power sources not sufficient. I also wiped the battery stats from the recovery and nothing. I can get it to stay on when plugged up but as soon as I take it off the charge it dies. I am out of ideas. If anyone has any idea I can try I am willing. So feel free to send ideas.

Both batteries are good. Both have been tested in other G1s and work great.

Then something is bad on your phones hardawre side, have you ever dropped it, gotten it wet, etc.?
Does you lady/you take it in the bathroom with you when you take a shower? When you wiped the battery stats, was it a full battery or empty battery in the phone?

The first time I did it it was full charge. but to no avail. I tried that then leaving it on with the charger in thinking it would eventually reset itself but that didn't work either.
Do other batteries work in your phone?

Does the phone get taken into the bathroom when a shower or bath is being taken? Was it left in the car for an extended period, ie longer than an hour?
Check the battery connections, they have been known to go bad.

Then it is your phones battery connectors. As to answer your question, when plugged in the phone switches to ac power instead of battery, this can be seen when you take out the battery, plug your phone in, and turn it on.

do you know where I can find a diagram or anything on what I am looking for?
I was using a wifi tether on my phone running PCForce's CM7 and my phone restarted (it was connected to my PC via USB) and when it came back on it said "Charging 0%" and whenever I unplug it it switches off, never seen this before but it seems, to me, like the battery has been fried anyone think the same.
I also have a spare battery that works fine, which also tells me that it is some problem with the battery, and running a wifi tether can heat things up a bit which brought me to that conclusion.
Anyone wanna throw any ideas on if its possible to fix it, I am now using the battery that came with the phone but it has a crack near the contacts which doesn't fill me with confidence.

try with 600 mHz it solved the problem for me
With mobile data and Wifi tethering enabled, my phone can get up to 52 degrees celsius in some cases without charging. I usually turn the phone off and take out the battery for a few minutes for it to cool down. I guess a temperature that high is caused by overclocking. I'm not sure if its damaging or not but I do prevent progression of operations in that temperature.
I also have a crack on the battery. Had it for a few months now and no problems so far
How 'cracked' is it?

I don't think the crack will be that much of a problem. If you want, you could take it to someone experienced just to be sure.

It is a real shame because my previous LG phone was the LG Viewty and that was an amazingly well built phone. Cost ~£100 and came with an amazing camera and 3G front facing camera too. Shame it didn't have android. So I don't know why LG decided to go really cheap on the build qualities - you'd think having cracked batteries would have come up in their design tests but they probably didn't care...
I got the same trouble...

My batery works about 1 day with deep sleep and oc 744mhz ;d
Hi, I have a funny problem since today morning. I came home yesterday and plugged the N7000 on the official loader. It flashed up as it ever does and I went to bed. Today I went to my phone and the only thing it does is showing the Battery with a non rotating circle in there. The same thing happening when the battery is fully dead, but before it continues to boot further the screen starts to flicker like if the battery is fully dead and powers down. Then it does the same thing again and again and again. I cant intervene with any button combination at all as it seems.
One thing to note, I had the NX Kernel flashed and increased the USB charge power from 450 mAh to 600 mAh meaning the same power level as it uses on a real PSU. In theory this should not even make any problem here then.
What could I do? Any way to make it STFU and just charge the Battery to a useful level before it boots and seems like to use too much power to make charging of any use?
And the most important question? What could be the problem? The Battery is just a year old and a official one.
Replace the battery. Sorry mate :/

Or because of the USB. I dont know if it was the problem, but some twisting of the plug in the connector and some time lying around in the sun and it lives again ^^
Hi guys,
I'm having issues with my Mi mix where it just shut down by its self and will no longer boot up anymore, it will load the Mix logo for a few seconds (after the initial Mi one) before shutting down. I can access the recovery, and have tried flashing a new rom, as well as fastbooted the original rom on. Is there any way to fix this?
Also, when plugging in the charge cable it will show charging, but stuck on 67%, it doesnt go above that with overnight charging.
Cheers,

Well maybe unplugging battery for a while may sort it, watch a teardown before attempting, I suspect the battery is actually flat and needs charging but it's stuck in some weird situation. You didn't say wether it was rooted with TWRP.

Thanks for the reply, I've unplugged it and tried rebooting, which it still wouldnt do. I have ordered a replacement battery just in case. And yeah it was rooted with TWRP running EpicRom when the shut down occured.

My Note 8 has been great, I bought it last year brand spankers. But, since one week, after it drops to 15 percent, it just turns off. I have been using a genuine charger and rarely charge beyond 91-95... sometimes to a 100.
I know this issue has been addressed before but I have tried a cache wipe, a battery caliberation and a system wipe. it keeps doing this. I don't want to have a battery replacement since it would void warranty... anything I am missing out?
any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks everyone.
the biggest damage to batteries occurs precisely when going very low or completely depleted, not when going up to 100%

the answer is implied, you tried to take care of your battery by not charging to 100%, but in fact you neglected the real reason why batteries fail prematurely, which is deep discharging or worst, totally depleting it, so the answer is, no way to fix your "battery drain" , only way to go is a new battery
