Hi guys,
I'm having issues with my Mi mix where it just shut down by its self and will no longer boot up anymore, it will load the Mix logo for a few seconds (after the initial Mi one) before shutting down. I can access the recovery, and have tried flashing a new rom, as well as fastbooted the original rom on. Is there any way to fix this?
Also, when plugging in the charge cable it will show charging, but stuck on 67%, it doesnt go above that with overnight charging.
Cheers,

Well maybe unplugging battery for a while may sort it, watch a teardown before attempting, I suspect the battery is actually flat and needs charging but it's stuck in some weird situation. You didn't say wether it was rooted with TWRP.

Thanks for the reply, I've unplugged it and tried rebooting, which it still wouldnt do. I have ordered a replacement battery just in case. And yeah it was rooted with TWRP running EpicRom when the shut down occured.

Leave it charging for 12 hours, it does sound like the battery was flat and giving false reading, hopefully leaving it on charge overnight will bring it back to life.
Which replacement battery have you purchased. You sure you connected the battery correctly

I have a g1 and it is rooted. I had everything going great then my wife took it over and now it will not show the battery. Its shows 0% even though the battery is charged. I have tried several batteries. I have since went from danger spl to regular. I have changed to several different roms I was going to try to unroot but it will not let me flash DREAIMG due to it says the power sources not sufficient. I also wiped the battery stats from the recovery and nothing. I can get it to stay on when plugged up but as soon as I take it off the charge it dies. I am out of ideas. If anyone has any idea I can try I am willing. So feel free to send ideas.

Then it is your phones battery connectors. As to answer your question, when plugged in the phone switches to ac power instead of battery, this can be seen when you take out the battery, plug your phone in, and turn it on.

Hi, I have a funny problem since today morning. I came home yesterday and plugged the N7000 on the official loader. It flashed up as it ever does and I went to bed. Today I went to my phone and the only thing it does is showing the Battery with a non rotating circle in there. The same thing happening when the battery is fully dead, but before it continues to boot further the screen starts to flicker like if the battery is fully dead and powers down. Then it does the same thing again and again and again. I cant intervene with any button combination at all as it seems.
One thing to note, I had the NX Kernel flashed and increased the USB charge power from 450 mAh to 600 mAh meaning the same power level as it uses on a real PSU. In theory this should not even make any problem here then.
What could I do? Any way to make it STFU and just charge the Battery to a useful level before it boots and seems like to use too much power to make charging of any use?
And the most important question? What could be the problem? The Battery is just a year old and a official one.
Replace the battery. Sorry mate :/

Or because of the USB. I dont know if it was the problem, but some twisting of the plug in the connector and some time lying around in the sun and it lives again ^^
Hello, i've got today an S3 MINI here with a strange issue, the cellphone when using it normally from all sudden it reboots and starts a weird scenario that doesn't boots up until a charger is plugged, when this happens shows an 75% 80% battery level (aprox) and the device works for a few hours normally and then it drops again.
Tried FACTORY RESET, no go... What's the next step on the issue??
Thanks!

I bought used Droid 4 last month. Battery seems to be in good state (2-2,5 days of light use), but every time it gets to ~40% it immediately drops to 20% (within few seconds). Is there a way to delete battery stats so it can detect percentage correctly? I tried to discharge it completely and recharge again but it didn't help.
Phone is running CM11. Any help appreciated.

if battery's charge is very low, it could take a while to show any change. Normally batteries has some charge, but who know when the battery was made and packaged, could have been a couple of years ago. I would leave connected to wall charger over night.

droid 4 doesnt require a new rear cover but it will wear out quickly if you remove it frequently. you can even keep the phone without a rear cover if youd like because the stock battery has a glue that holds it together with the phone along with the screws for the flex cable
I recently purchased a Note 8 but I notice that the phone only charge up to 80%.
When the battery is charged up to 80%, the red/orange led notification indicating the charging process turned off. I had to unplug and replug the charger multiple times but the battery only jumped up to 83~85%. Is this normal or is the battery defective?
Everytime, I unplugged and replugged the charger. The charging symbol & led notification showed up for about 30~35 sec and then it stopped charging.
Does anyone have the same problem like this?

Check the bootloader screen. Usually this restriction is placed when the phone has been rooted. Maybe your phone was a customer exchange, which if that were the case I would be very pissed off.
Either way, if you haven't interfered with it in any way then it warrants a replacement.
--
Have you tried re-calibrating the battery?
Maybe try draining the battery till it dies, then turn on phone until it dies again.
Finally charge it to full whilst switched off (i.e. notification light turns green)
This used to happen to me sometimes with an extended battery on the Note 4, where the fix was to remove the battery and replace it (obviously not possible here)
Sounds rooted to me. That's the only thing I have seen here at XDA that causes 80% battery . I would send it back right away, don't even try to screw with it. Samsung sent you somebody else's problem.

Read my reply again! I said maybe he was sent a customer exchange. It happened to me once (not direct from Samsung but from a very well known and normally reputable online store.
I sent my phone back to Samsung service center to fix the charging problem. They replaced some components on the mainboard that cause this problem. However, when I received the phone, I performed some tests to check if the problem still persists.
After I received the phone back, my phone was able to charge itself up to 96-97% and then it stopped charging. I had to unplug and replug the wired charger to get my phone up to 100%. So I don't know this is because of the software/firmware from phone or not !!
Then, I used the phone for a couple days and when the phone was about at 25% battery, the battery drained so fast. In about 10-15 min after 25%, the phone turned off.
I let the phone off and charged the phone again, but again, the phone could not be fully charged. It stopped at 96% again!!! Does anyone have the same problem?

I have the same problem.
some of this is caused by samsung's rightful fear that their batteries will explode. there are many complaints online about how slowly the note 8 charges. mine does some weird stuff while charging sometimes, and i am chocking it up to restrictions sammy has put in place to prevent another disaster. sometimes mine will only charge to like 87%, but if i unplug/plug in again it will finish charging. i think it also tries to charge around your charging/usage patterns as well. i suspect there is a way to turn off this feature.
I am getting the same issue. I have had my phone for for over a year now with no issues. And just a couple weeks ago I started having these issues. And no, I have not Rooted my phone, for all the people who suggested rooted.
Was there ever a fix for this?
