Can I install a Rom?
Can i launch rspl and install hspl?

When I open ROMUpdateUtility.exe
1)I click i understand.....
2)click I complete...
3)Then please wait...
4)Then ERROR [260];CONNECTION
Check for following:
1:The PDA Phone is connected to the USB cradle/cable.
2:The USB cradle/cable is connected to the PC
WHAT THAT MEAN ALL ARE CONNECTED! I dont now what to do

make sure the *.nbh is in the same folder as ROMUpdateUtility.exe
also, device must be in Bootloader. power off device -> hold volume down -> power on device

Are you sure your bootloader isn't halfbricked?

it was halfbriked because of trying to rspl with spl 4 but the got a update which gave me spl 5 so now its not halfbriked am i right do u know a way around this

Is there anything in the white bar, it should say "Serial" or "USB" if it doesn't than it is still half bricked and you should follow the attached guide to build a Y-Cable and the GoldCard thread.

i have spl 5 thats y there is no usb/serial message and i have y cable and goldcard but when i plug my phone in and plug usb flash drive in it says loading then reboots then loading then reboot and never actually boots the goldcard or rom file just loading then reboot any advice i left my phone and it dd this process for 20 mins just rebooting and loading only loads for two secs by the way then reboot

I think any SPL version has the "USB/Serial" But I'm not sure. When you use GoldCard method you do go into USB Host Mode right?
Your SD Card is GoldCarded right?

Did you say you used USB Flash Drive??? You have to use a GoldCarded SD Card

i dont fink spl5 does any way yh i go into usb host mode vol down and camera button and yh i have 4 gb usb flash drive and i put ruu.signed file and renamed it schuimg and then started goldcard tool and followed steps but it says loading for two secs then reboot process

and i have seen post and videos proving that u can use usb flash drive do u think sd reader would make a difference

I haven't seen any tutorials saying you can use USB. All I know is I had SPL 5, tried to instal RSPL, got halfbricked. And had to goldcard with a GoldCarded SD Card.
I'm not saying your wrong I'm just saying thats all I know.
I hope you can find a fix, I'd suggest trying to GoldCard with an SD Card that has GoldCard, it may change it but IDK. I will ask some people that helped me to help you (link them to this thread) so that you can solve this.
Good luck solving this, I'll tell you if I find anything that might help.

dude u been a great help done it with a sd reader it says enter usb host mode with everything plugged in how long do i wait untill it will read it

First off, is the SD Card GoldCarded? If not let me know and I'll provide you with links do the programs

yh goldcarded with a goldcard img from a thread on here and goldcarded with one of the tools on here it just says enter usb host mode

Did you rename the RUU_Signed.nbh to SCHUIMG.nbh?

yh is that the only thing i copy or do i put all the files on sd card aswell

No just SCHUIMG.nbh should be on the SD Card, you can also try putting the Goldcard.img on the SD Card, I think I had that on there when Flashed my phone. Also, make sure your not using a custom rom when using GoldCard method. Only stock roms

yh stock nodo rom i had goldcsrdimg on there anyway shuld i remove it

First off, do you have a built in SD Card reader on your computer?
If not do you have an Android or Windows Mobile 6 device?

Bootloader not showing connection info - serial/usb

Hy all
I wanted to flash my winphone 7 with a custom ROM. I tried several things as I had no idea overall. This included some DFT executables and some RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_xxxxx.exe files.
As none of them were working, I tried to find out why and just figured out, I was using the wrong files to update my phone. As I now have (imho) the right file (RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_5.10.401.04_SLSPL_Signed_by_ansar.zip) that could patch my phone, one of the earlier files has broken my SPL somehow.
When I boot into the bootloader (vol down) the part at the bottom with the white background doesn't show the connection method anymore at all.
It doesn't even say serial when not connected via USB cable. I also tried removing the SIM card without success.
Is my phone broken now? Meaning can I not flash it anymore?
My Windows 7 also does not recognize the phone while in bootloader mode. Before, everytime I attached the phone via USB cable in bootloader mode it recognized it...
Here are my "bootloader" details:

Firstly you need to Unlock your device, then using RSPL(recommended) then you follow the link that I paste.

[Q] Serious BootLoop ! NEED HELP

The last thing i tried doing was to restore a backup from CWM.
After restoring it goes on bootloop.
yes, i tried to go to recovery, it doesnt..
yes, i tried to go to flashmode, it doesnt work..
All it does is show the SONY logo, and restart again and again..
i need to fix this ASAP, so anyone who has an idea, please let me know ..

Hi, I rooted my phone using towelroot and and then i changed my dpi to 300 which is not supported by my phone.. THE specific phone details
DETAIL:
-It is Locked
-I cannot enter recovery mode
-I cannot enter fastboot
-My usb debugging mode is off..
-im on bootloop
pls help :/ I want my phone back

when connect with pc is connect as hs usb qdloader 9008

i just try to flash rom and the flash stop at the midle and power off
and still off no thing happend after

do you have a linux pc ?
or if not we might not be able to help you because we dont have schematic for a test point shortout to get the phone in download mode witch is risky i had to do with my lg l90 but no luck it had a msm8226 chip but with some minor changes and i could not fix it but yeah :crying:

was your device s-off (security off) because its hard to get a wrong image or delete an images of your device partition table only if it was an s-off thats possible but nothing else

so is the phone recoverable? all i have is a black screen my battery has been dead for like 2months should i get a new battery? when i plug into computer hs usb drivers....help please.

I have been following this guide (droidsavvy com/unbrick-qualcomm-mobiles/) but have yet to be successful sadly. My phone is in the Old mode by what the guide says.
Our best chance is if someone with a 510 creates a backup.img for us and we can flash it (hope someone here is nice enough to do it!)
