I was going to ask but I just tried so I thought I'd share. I saw some other threads about the Maxx and Ultra and it seems the X has the same issue: Square reader doesn't work.

I noticed this as well when I tried my square a few days ago.
I use PayPal Here at work, and it is also not functional on the X.
My Jawbone UP band isn't working as well, guess that's the reason.

Has this been fixed on 442?
I guess I could use my unactivated iPhone on WiFi to use Square?

It has been fixed and it's now working.
I just bought the moto x, great phone, but none of my headsets work with it. I tried 3 Samsung 3-button headsets, not working at all. Then I tried one single button, it works with music, but still can't take/end phone calls. Is my phone faulty? Or an I missing something?
I use an iPhone headset and the answer/end call button works. It will also mute and unmute during a call. The volume buttons do nothing.

For past phones I've used this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kober.headset&hl=en to fix headset buttons that weren't working correctly.
I use an LG Tone + 730. It's bluetooth so it's wireless and it informed me through my new moto x that I don't have to say the phrase OK Google now. Just press the button and say the command.

I preorder the X and 360 and was wonder if its possible to use the hint as well?
Are there any pros and con's in using them at the same time?
Will one be disable?
I have all three and they work seamlessly together.

Yes, at least in the case of my GS3. I can have a car stereo, headset, and pebble "now 360" paired up simultaneously.

I have a X and S4 active and my 360 can only connect to 1 without resetting and pairing. Is there a way to connect to both phones without having to disconnect and pair each time.

I don't think you can connect the Moto 360 to two phones. You have to choose one
Has anybody managed to get their car's headunit to display track name and title when streaming music from the Moto X? All my car's headunit displays is 'Streaming' yet all info is present wheb using an iPhone 5 so it isn't the car that's the problem.

I've used my Moto X in several different cars from different manufacturers over the past month and every one has displayed track info when using google play music and pocket casts over BT.
Thanks for the replies. I'll try another player and report back. FWIW the car in question is a 2012 Volvo C30.
Try a few other androids, it could be that it works only with ios

So i tried Poweramp and checked abd unchecked every option going - still no luck.
As it happens my girlfriend has just purchased a Galaxy Alpha and this DOES display track info, using both Google Play Music and the Samsung Music app.
Any other suggestions? I'm at a bit of a loss as to why my Moto X doesn't...

I could do, although the dealership is a few miles away and would charge for any software upgrades which may or may not work.
I suppose I'm just hoping that it fixes itself when Lollipop arrives!

Lollipop didn't fix this. My iPhone 5, my girlfriend's Galaxy Alpha and my sister's Galaxy S5 all give track info, yet my Moto X doesn't...
My moto x has always displayed the track and artist info when using google play through Bluetooth also. Maybe try removing device and adding it back to see what happens.

Mine works on the 2014 Ford Fusion and my 2012 Mustang. This is while using Google Play Music. The artist picture shows up on my Fusion but not the Mustang.

This looks like a very good price. US one day shipping from Amazon Prime. I ordered it and an external mic for ~$8 just in case. Hoping it's good. What do you guys think about it?
Well I pulled the trigger and purchased. I did not get the external mic. Had to hack up my dash trim and some of the actual dash. This is a 2004 Ford Focus. The iso harness connected with no modification as I previously had a Blaupunkt radio. I am having audio popping on my end when placing a bluetooth call. Music sounds great on bluetooth and is very loud and sounds full range. Hoping for some help with bluetooth call audio issue.
I saw you got it rooted successfully. Anymore updates? Did you get your calls to work any better?

Xposed works. Youtube background play and ad block work. Calls still not sounding good. The seller had me reflash ROM. Still not sounding good. Seller suggested I try external mic. It should be arriving today.

Good: Very fast, great sound, good wifi reception, good bluetooth reception, radio reception acceptable, volume nob works great.
Bad: Tight fit(had to cut dash and trim), bluetooth calls issue, google maps crash sometimes, google app crash sometimes, google voice search can't dial contacts, no option to voice dial contacts, second incoming call no notification or option to switch calls, some electical sound leakage in speakers when touching the screen(not bad I just noticed with my ear near speaker).
Overall: pretty good for the price.

Its an MTCD. They're largely all the same, with variations in number of USB, SDCARD, amp chip, tuner module. The unit most fully kitted out is the GS MTCD board.
Notice HCT in the android version - they produce the PX5 SOM with the resellers specifying software options (launcher etc.)
Having owned a JY and compared it to a GS board I have - obtained as a spare part for hardware hacking - the GS is the one to go for.

Did the external mic help? I saw that amazon froze this volsmart product too which is making me uneasy since I am in the process of installing mine.

The mic did not help. Volsmart says they have sent me a new bluetooth module. I am still waiting for it. The old module will need to be de-soldered for removal. I am OK with this as I know electronics. They are not responding to support requests because of China blocking VPN access. If I don't get the new module before end of 30 days I will get refund.
When using Google Maps does the audio kind of stutter and cut in and out on yours? Mine does this but only in Google maps. Google now Assistant sounds fine

Press the reset button on front with a paper clip. It happens after playing youtube and I shut off the vehicle.

Hmm mine seems to do it all the time tried reset, updating maps, uninstalling and reinstalling maps, clearing maps cache, taking out sd card. But nothing has fixed it so far... But all my other audio seems fine.

Yep I updated it, tried downgrading to the stock version, and reinstalling it altogether.
