Guys i need help!!!
I'm a fresh new android user especially SGS+...after rooting the phone, i downloaded an app ERIS MARKET!! I tried using it everything went so good then it asked me to restart the phone...and that's it!!! it shows the samsung logo then galaxy s plus then turns off again and again samsung logon..samsung s plus and so on...!!!
I tried the factory reset but nothing happened!!
Now i've lost all the data and had my phone bricked ((
Any help??
Use odin to reflash. Search for your model than download everything and follow guide or if you have backup on your phone.

Hold on, you are not totally bricked as such, if your phone can still boot up like that there is still much life in it. in this case Odin is your buddy. Download your stock firmware according to your region (im not sure if im allowed to post links to other sites, so i wont),
Download Odin (find out how to use it, with the PIT file and your Stock ROM)
Launch Odin (from your PC ofcoz)
Switch off your phone by removing the battery
Put the battery back in, hold HOME button + Volume Down + then POWER button, Your phone should go into download mode.
Connect you phone to the PC using your USB cable, (odin should highlight a yellow square to signal you that your phone has been detected)
Put all the file you downloaded into thier rightful place and then flash.
I have just jumbled it up to give you a general direction, there should be more detailed infor on this site, keep looking and good luck
Tar file
thanks alot guys..
I've downloaded the ODIN and now i've the PIT file but where can i get the TAR file for my i9001?
take a look at samfirmware.com , there you can get the stock roms you want
stock firmware
how can i know the stock firmware on my phone? it doesnot start up so i can't get into the settings or something? and i'm sry but i don't get what does the region do with the firmware?
I'm so sorry but i'm really a very new android user
Thank you so much
search this forum and you find tens of tar files
1. Watch this Video w w w.youtube.com/watch?v=JmvCpR45LKA
2. Just register here w w w.sammobile.com/firmware/ when done click firmware and download what you need!

As it was already mentioned go to samfirware.com and look for a stock rom espeacially for your region.
If you dont know wich to use, try to google the different country codes.
Further you should download odin 4.43 (u must use 4.43) and flash it back to the stock.
Like if it helped u unbrick ur phone

You only have to know that ur owning a I9001
Go to samefirware.com and check the regional code
Download Odin 4.43 ( u must!!!!! use 4.43 otherwise it´ll freeze while processing)
plug in ur usb cable and wait while odin checks ur phone
flash ur phone back to stock
(if u dont know how to use odin read a tut. or write a mail to me im an expert =))
Best place to look is xda wiki:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_Plus/GT-I9001
You need odin and ariesve.ops
And some stock ROM.
Hi guys. I know this is my first post and thread, but I used Google and searched in this forum for hours and I can't find a solution.
My device is a SGM GT-S5570I, it had gingerbread 2.3.6.
It was rooted with a universal root I found at this forum.
Right after that, I downloaded this: cm_tass-galaxyics-10062012 from galaxyics.com, I think it's CyanogenMod for S5570 (NOT COMPATIBLE!)
I started in normal Recovery mode and updated from sd card that file.
The problem is that I did not make a recovery and I didn't install ClockWorKRecovery, and now the phone always boots in Recovery mode, popping up an error: Can't find /system.
I think I soft-bricked it, right? Is there a way to fix it without a recovery? ODIN does not detect it, I installed both a manual version of the drivers (installation shows an error during proccess) and Samsung Kies, and none of them makes the PC detect the device.
Also I found it impossible to find firmware for S5570I (I find lots of firmwares and stuff for S5570, but I'm sure it won't work.)
Another thing I'd like to say is that I watched lots of videos at youtube of galaxy mini's and they show a different image at the boot than mine, they have something like "Galaxy pop/plus" and mine just shows "Galaxy Mini GTS5570I".
I can provide more info if asked, just don't know what more to say.
Thank you for your time, and excuse me for my annoying English!
Restore to stock firmware .
Download the it from samfirmware and use odin3 v1.85

(and how to backup all my data , apps, messages, contacts)
Lol, newb
You need to download Odin Multidownloader v4.38
Then get the file "cooper v1.0.ops"
Now that you have downloaded both go to samfirmware and download a firmware for your galaxy ace ( download the latest one)
After it finishes downloadibg, extract the .md5 file and open odin.
Then put the .ops file you downloaded in the .OPS part and select " one package" and choose the .md5 file
Reboot your phone into downloading mode (power buton+ volume down+home button) and plug it to your computer wait till Odin recognises your phone and start flashing.
Make sure your phone is atleast 50% charged
After Odin says its done disconnect from computer and shutdown phone and load into recovery ( if you cant shutdown, simply remove battery) and wipe to factory settibgs and wipe cache. Reboot and you should official stock ROM.
This guide is ver simple and with not many details but there are many guides on the internet.
So please use the search bar before asking.

As you can see, it's a very easy procedure. Also, "downloading mode", as said by Tovagulet, is activated by turning the phone off, and power buton+ volume down+home button.
Good luck
Nice explanation

MY phone is also in the same state now,
what did you do to make it work,
my phone got detected but hangs at setup connection in odin and no answer from phone in z3x,
please advice me on this,
thank you.
I upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830c to 4.2.2, run.
After I moved to 4.3 and also worked, but after changing some things in build.prop (Root Explorer), my phone stopped getting into Download mode, It is a gray screen forever. Now my phone is stopped ( Loop Infinite )
I can not do unroot: Installation Aborted.
When I try to change my android version (install zip from sd card), appear this: Installation Aborted
I did found the build.prop backup, and I can not go back to stock rom by odin, because as I said, the screen turns gray when I try to enter download mode.
Help me, will have to go back stock rom, downloading a backup. (My friend did it, but I did not think and do not know how to do)
Thanks, beautiful site admin

Sadly you have bricked your phone. But @SuperMini has provided us with a rather simple guide on how to unbrick Samsung Galaxy Ace that should hopefully work on your phone too. Go through the entire thread and you will get to know all the possible solutions. Make sure to use your phone's own key combination to enter the download mode. Here is the link,

You can continue with the installation using "One Package". According to @fernando15j, when he pressed the key combo, it was in Download Mode even though the downloading image was not displayed. If this doesn't work work either, then your last option will be USB Jig. You can use the following guide to make your own,
Need a Samsung USB Jig? Build Your Own
I hope you can unbrick your Samsung Galaxy Ace. Good Luck! Hope I helped
