you're putting the same entire tar in each slot you have to unzip the tar and you'll find the 4 separate files to correspond to each slot

try doing all but the bootloader.
I'm using my phone looking at your screen shots so it's hard to tell. looks like you have taken the OF3 update so I'm not sure you can downgrade. But try without bootloader

Make sure your drivers are up to date. However if you've taken the latest OF2 update that might be the problem as well.
I haven't taken it.
Use the OE3 files but the bootloader try that

Are you flashing the entire Odin package or are you just trying to flash a pit file? What firmware are you currently on and what firmware are you trying to flash? What steps are you taking that it's failing? Can you post the Odin log?

This last one you tried to flash is never going to work because it's not AT&T i537 Firmware. I would try flashing the NE3 Odin package, it's got the latest bootloader do it should work. Give it a shot and let me know.
Okey I will try to flash the I537UCUCNE3 full package then I will let you know thanks, do I need pit for this o no?
Did iI placed the files in the right order on Odin? @Devo7v

I have no idea if you placed them in the right place, but it seems like you did. As long as you follow the instructions and it looks like the pictures you should be fine.

I know you are having problems with the pit file, the CSC file in the Odin package contains the pit file, so if you're having problems with it maybe you have a corrupted download. Try downloading the package again and checking the MD5 against the one that is posted to ensure they match. Before you try the attached file I would try flashing the CSC file only, it should work.
In either case I've attached the NE3 pit file that I extracted from the Odin package. I'm not sure which slot this needs to be flashed in, but be careful because this could brick your phone. This file cannot be flashed through the phone's recovery, you must extract the zip and flash the pit file inside through Odin.
I placed everything on its place and got the same error.......... Im giving up with this @Devo7v

It's definitely the AT&T version of the i537 and not the TelCel or Uruguayan version, correct?
It says AT&T on the back cover, is there any other way to confirm that is from AT&T? @Devo7v

I think you have a bad download then. Try downloading the NE3 package again and try a different version of Odin, 3.07 or 3.09.
Thanks for your help but my friend says he will buy another Mother board or sell the phone, but thanks! a lot

So I'm trying to root my SM-G925I on 6.0.1 using Auto-Root and Odin. I got the right file, the latest odin. Put my phone into download, it registers on odin. Load it on AP and hit start. Then, I get this

And it obviously fails. Any suggestions?
EDIT: Now it gets stuck at "Get PIT for mapping..."
Probably because you aren't suppose to use any version of Odin for the S6 except "Odin3_v3.10.6"

Thats your issue right there. You cant downgrade from U4 firmware to a U3 firmware. Your best bet would be flashing the u4 combo file for 7.1 then flashing the u3 system only from a u3 firmware, im not 100% sure if the u4 bootloader has binary check like the new s9 / s9+ has but thats your only option, once you took the u4 ota you locked yourself to 8.0 and no direct route to 7.1.1 now
note 8 sm-n950u(tmobile)oreo to nougat
I understand about not being able to downgrade but someone mentioned a v4 combo nougat rom but have been searching and have only been able to find up to version 3 bootloader. have
rn16nw/n950usqs4cre1
tmobile carrier note 8
using odin v. 3.13.1

I am sorry But I am new and don"t know if I am breaking protocol, but you mentioned that maybe flashing a version 4 combo of nougat might be an option but I am not able to locate a copy of anything above version 3 in nougat

so sad buying android is specifically just only for freedom of downgrade, not like ios. but now samsung does not allow this.
will sell this damn phone and get back to ioss
So I am a poor guy that has a dream of using a Note 8 for this is my dream phone. Somebody post a listing in Facebook that his note 8 is somewhat useless for he don't know what is the problem and he is selling it as a bargain so I grab it.
Now I am stuck with this phone that won't turn on (unless you go and place it on a wireless charger then it will turn on by itself), won't do anything and is stuck with download mode(see photo 1).
I try to flash a SM-N950N firmware using Odin v3.13.1 but I am getting an error:

Flash the root file via odin. That is the easiest way to repartion. This worked for me.

Hi am wondering if you could help with my Galaxy Note 8
I am able to install the firmware using ODIN without any errors on download mode but after ODIN is finished the phone turns off and does not boot.
I have taken the phone to a repair shop as well and they have confirmed that there is no hardware issues,

my phone stops also like this
Hello
My phone starts only in "downloading mode".
My phone: Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950F
Downloaded firmware: N950FXXS8DSK5/N950FOXM8DSK1/N950FXXS8DSK1/N950FXXS8DSK5
I had root. I switched OEM and the phone has not started. I decided to upload the original software but Odin stopped and showed an error. Since then, the phone starts only in downloading. Take a look at the pictures ... this downloading is not normal:
attachment "myphone.jpg"
there is no information as during normal uploading:
attachment: "normal.jpg"
I cannot turn off the phone with the power button. I can only reset by holding VolUP and Power. After restart I have a black screen, I can't turn on the phone. The phone starts automatically after about 1 hour in Downloading mode.
Odin shows:

I can't find any help on this with Google!
Have you tried flashing TWRP again? Then you could try flashing a rom, so at least you have a working device for now.
YES. When uploading TWRP, Odin stops at:
Odin ver 3.12, 3.13, 3.14.
TWRP ver 3.2.1.0,

I wish I knew how to help you further. Keep bumping the thread in a hope that someone more knowledge knows what to do. :fingers-crossed:
Correction. Not VOLUP + POWER, but the phone only reacts to VOLDOWN + POWER.
The phone only responds to the VOLDOWN + POWER button
The phone does not respond to the POWER button.
Maybe it is worth disconnecting the phone and wait until the battery runs out ...
Flash the correct PIT file with odin and it will work again..had the same issue and it worked for me without loosing data
Should I unpack the PIT file from CSC?
