LG G4 H811- Rooted with TWRP, How Do I Update? - T-Mobile LG G4

T-Mobile G4 H811 10d rooted with TWRP
Should have taken OTA first before "one-click TWRP" & "root", my question now is
how to upgrade to version 10n??? Thanks for the direction and help!!!

Probably too late and I hope you already figured this out, but since you have twrp, just flash the rooted 10n image and you'll be fine. You can find it in the tmobile g4 android development forum

New to the G2 but need advice

So I purchased a second hand Verizon model G2 and its still on 4.2.2 11a. The previous owner was an elderly man who never took the update. Well, being unlocked I bought it for my T-Mobile prepaid use.
I've already rooted and flashed TWRP recovery and I've downloaded the 39a bootstack.zip file.
What steps do I need to take to go from 11a to the T-Mobile 30b file that I downloaded from the other section?
Are these steps correct:
Reboot recovery
Full backup
Wipe data and cache but not internal SD card
Flash bootstack 39a
Flash T-Mobile 30b
Reboot
Enjoy
Are those the correct steps to go from 11a to the newest lollipop and more compatible for T-Mobile Sim cards? I only ask because I currently have no access to a PC and didn't know if those steps would brick it. Coming from a consistent flasher of Galaxy and HTC phones, this is a new ball game it seems like. Lol.
Advice please
I actually took my own advice and now I'm on 5.0.2 and it feels like T-Mobile

Root and TWRP After 20i Update

Hi all, new to the G4 and had a quick question. The day i bought my G4 the MM update came out and updated overnight. Im looking to get root and TWRP on the 20i update and I'm having some difficulties finding a guide on how to accomplish this. I have read through autoprime's guide on how to OEM unlock but I'm not positive that it applies to me in my situation. Can anyone verify that his method will work on a stock 20i ota rom? Thanks in advance!
i echo this request. any help much appreciated

Can the sprint lg g4 be rooted on the latest firmware?

I don't own a LG g4 but my buddies does and he isn't experienced with rooting/unlocking phones and has a LG g4, and was saying "there was a root method but it got patched before he could try it."
If there is a way to do it could you please link me to it?
Thanks
Are you sure he wasn't referring to the ZV6 root? Currently you can't root anything above ZV6. If you have ZVA or earlier, you can use LGUP or whatever it's called to revert back to ZV6, then root.
If your phone is patched to ZVB, which is the current version, then you cannot root, and also you cannot roll back to ZVA to perform a root, and are stuck. The only option for ZVB is to install the mellowmallow ROM.

you need KDZ and LGUP. look here. i know 10n its lollipop
20i its marshmallow and latest its 20o. are you planing on rooting and use twrp.? if not you can only root 10n with locked bootloader. so you need to stay on 10n.. or upgrade to 20i MM. but do not flash 20oMM and go back downgrade to 20i- or 10n it will brick phone.
you need drivers-LGUP and KDZ. i think in the links you find everything

I want to downgrade from CM 12.1 to stock firmware (xT1068)

Hi guys,
I flashed CM 12.1 almost a year ago and now I would like to give the phone to a relative and I would like for it to have stock rom and to be OTA update-able. I've read dozens of topics and still not sure what are the exact steps to doing this without any errors or softbricks. Some topics mention to skip fastboot of motoboot.img others don't.
The phone had European firmware and it's the dual sim version. I just want it to be as it came inside the box and to be able to update it to the latest version of android (6.0 I guess is the last for XT1068)
I know people got errors after downgrading and making any OTA update so.. that's why I'm asking.
Thanks!
LE: my bootloader is unlocked, it's version 4883 and I also installed TWRP recovery.
Also I skipped motoboot etc.... and after the Stock OTA Update my second Moto G2 is hard bricked very nice. So, please flash 6.0 directly
