Do a hard reset and after that turn off your mobile...
Let it cool down for some time.
Then go to download mode and try flashing.

For reset
Press and hold the volume down and power button when Mobile is turned off. As you see LG logo. Leave both buttons and press and hold the power button again..
For download mode. When phone is off, press and hold the volume up button and connect to pc through data cable.
Press the Thanx button.

I have axioo vigo 410 (similary with ideos X6), I try to install ideos Rom to my axioo, I do that cause my axio can't passed boot logo, altough I use factory reset from cwm...
I use Software update from other section n flash ideos ROM, but on process, it can't flashed, after that I plug out my cable data, n my axioo won't boot altough to the recovery...
Is it hard brick?, how do I solved it?

do a fastboot mode and put cable data on your device, open command promt (cmd) type 'chkdsk /f f:' (without quote)
*change f: with whatever your images partition shown on your computer
if its done do the flashing with sutlr again..
i hope it will help you..

are flashing this rom? http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/technicaIndex.do?method=gotoProductSupport&productId=3781&tb=1
if yes, go to axioo service center. because it happened to me once, and even SUTLR can't detect download mode anymore. it just take 3 days on CSL service center, just reprogram/reflash it with their tool IMHO,

You can't possibly hard brick your phone using Odin and the official Samsung ROM unless you've ticked something in Odin like Nand Erase all, Flash Lock, T Flash... You can only soft brick it in which case you simply reboot into download mode and reflash the ROM.

if you cannot use the button combo to enter recovery, then you will need to flash a tot in edm (emergency download mode - power + vol up). That will put you in test mode (no usb mass storage). Then just use the test mode fix.

So as LG-P880 flashing instructions were too much hassle for my taste
Here it is a very simple way to upgrade/downgrade your phones easy peasy
Everything will be gone so backup first!
Download this:
Mirror 1:
http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=01589528474127578975
Mirror 2:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/wu50af8uh99air7/P880-Flashtools.rar
Unrar and copy your downloaded new firmware inside LG Flash Tool 2014 folder
Browse to Driver folder and install/double click LGUnitedMobileDriver_S50MAN311AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.11.3.exe file.
Shutdown and remove SIM&EXTSDCARD from the back of the phone. Leave battery in-place don't take it out.
Press and hold Vol(-) connect usb cable coming from pc->download mode
Run LGFlashTool2014.exe
Selections
CDMA or 3GQCT doesn't matter really
DIAG
KDZ file location
then select preferred flash mode
Normal Flash: Flash ROM without losing any data. Only use this when you need to fix system error. Beware of boot loop when flashing ROM that differ from current ROM on your phone or MOD ROM.
CSE Flash: Choose this option when you need a fresh format. All data will be gone. It's suitable for upgrading or downgrading ROM or simply use this when you need to back to Stock.
Done, enjoy!
Update:
If you get
This mode is for data backup at service center ...
Click to collapse
in recovery repeat flashing the KDZ and you will get the stock recovery this time.
Wow, thx Demetris, you are my savior just in time.
With the online upgrade the phone is always stuck in a bootloop and the old offline method just didn't work as it gave me a file extract error, although I know I've done everything correct (maybe the issue was leaving the sim and sd card inside or selecting 3GQCT?)
Btw and fyi, the CSE method is only available if CDMA is selected.
Thanks for making this fast and simple tutorial that even works ^^
Thank you for the great tutorial. I tried exact accordance with my LG-P880 to update. Unfortunately it did not work, the device starts but then remains at the LG logo, no further reaction. Restart / reset no improvements. Options in Android System recoveryy <3e> do not work. Do you have an idea how I can still save my beloved P-880?
Use CDMA and select CSE flash. After update and phone sticks at lge logo remove battery hold vol +(99% of times you need to use - but for me was +) and press power on. On stock recovery factory reset and now phone will boot
I did and the unit freezes. The figure Android is flat and shows an exclamation mark.

Reboot phone
ADB sideload
Factory reset
...something like that
I think that you must see that options when enter recovery(vol- and power button),then using volume buttons select factory reset and confirm with power button. I also have bootloop after flashing kdz but after factory reset phone boot properly.
BTW i use flash kdz tutorial not that method from Demetris

If your recovery is TWRP, hold down the power key to turn the phone off, once it is off QUICKLY hold down the Vol up key ALONG WITH the power key, once the LG LOGO appears QUICKLY release the vol up key.
This should get you into recovery
volume up? I have read in several guides that It must be pressed volume down for recovery and up for download mode..
Once I flashed my LG Flex with TWRP I access it through the Vol Up and Power instead of Vol Down. GIve it a try, what can it hurt?
with volume up I get into hardware key control mode..

There correct Hold buttons like you were told and you should access what you want
But honestly if you are BRICK'D just hold the VOL UP well attaching USB and go into DOWNLOAD MODE and reflash totally stock
Another way worked for me was to just flash a ROM , this gave me access To total phone ( Also DELETED my EFS FILE (Make sure you BACKUP YOUR EFS FOLDER) may not be correct Carrier but its a start
Now go enter DL MODE and u'll need the DLL File for the ROM you flashed so LGTOOLS picks up phone 2 be flashed use CORRECT DLL and the C O R R E C T TOT or KDZ file and reflash stock
