So, yesterday my note started to blinking in some parts of the screen, like a flickering or an interference and stopped to charge correctly. I only can charge it to 74% and it discharge very very fast, and i know that it seems to be a battery problem, but it could be a usb port problem? Cause, i've tested a lot of USB cables and in some positions them was charging, and in ohter, don't, and if i use it while charging, the phone discharge. Sorry for my bad english!
I had this problem to. It could be both. In my case it was the USB port. I replaced it for 20€. And bought a new battery. Now all is fine again. I think you must try it...

Well I'm at about 2% battery life, and it will not charge. I'm using my computer to charge it. Charging it from the wall hasnt worked for me for a while, not sure why.
Anyway I was wondering what it can be? I doubt my battery's dead or something is wrong with the phone... I'm sorry if this question's been answered, but I couldnt find an answer on google.
If USB charging works, but not charging with the AC adapter then the adapter is either bad, or plugged into a bad power outlet.
Nope it's neither of those because Ive tried two working AC ountlets and two warking cables. However, that's not my problem, my phone died and I can't charge it :-/
Ya so the phone died. It didn't look like it was going to charge on the USB, really weird. Anyone ever have there phone refusing to charge? While it was alive I tried to run activesync; that didn't work. So what should I do?
Btw, I've had the phone for a couple months now and I haven't had any big problems. I don't think it can be my phone failing, worst case just the battery. I've had something similar before but it fixed itself, doesn't look like thats happeneing now.
Battery
Maybe charging from the computer wasn't such a good idea. I recommend changing the battery and the charger and always be a nice boy and charge from the outlet ::- ).
I had the same thing happen to me - the connector at the bottom was broken. I had to do a return to factory. I looked (using a magnifying class) at the bottom of the phone and clearly see a crack in the connector.
It doesn't charge from the outlet.... I kinda just explained that lol

Hmm my connector does look a little bent. However it would of had to be like this before, and it was charging until I let my battery get to 5% :-/
I had a similar problem with my Kaiser a couple of weeks ago - it started to crawl and a soft reset took over 15 minutes to come back up to a working state, after which the battery wouldn't charge. It definitely wasn't the charger at fault as that still works on my TyTN. Phone was about 3 months old, so called Vodafone UK who seemed to think it was software related and so provided next day swap out. Old battery works in the new handset so never did get to find out if it was hardware or software that caused it to die.
Here's what probabally happened... you meant to stick you stylus in the reset hole and accidently put it in the usb hole... thus bending your charging port. I did it and when I plugged it into my car it would actually discharge the battery.. but when I plugged it into an outlet it just wouldn't charge.. if I were you I'd go see if it charges in a car
I appear to have a similar issue when charging from PC usb, and have identified that if I put pressure up or down on the charger it will charge the kaiser. But if plug in the charger without applying directional force it will not charge. Currently i have a small weight resting on the mini USB chargin input.
So obviously something up with the connector. But I haven't jammed anything up the usb port to my knowledge. Are these ports really that flimsy?
Tilt owners: If charge mechanism breaks, is ATT cool?
Oh no, now I can't charge or sync my Tilt.
My power is slowly running out.
What do I do? This is covered by manufacturers warranty in a year, is
ATT going to take my Tilt back and give me a new one?
I need my phone to be working and working well.
Thoughts?

Charging from the computer should be better than the wall, given that the USB ports on the computer have a 5.5v output, while wall chargers have 5v.
Hello I have a very serious problem whit my Kaiser it doesn't charge, only on usb. I have a PDA charger, and a car charger(may be this is it's name) but they don't charge my kaiser.
I upgrade the radio recently and than i upgrade the rom. After that i discovered that problem.
Moreover the mini usb connection port on my PDA is in bad condition.
Perhaps that is the problem?
Please answer me.
If the miniusb port is in bad condition, it could be the port that is the issue.
Normally, if only one charger isnt working, I would say it is possible that the power supply on the charger is either sub-par or no longer working correctly. However, if your car charger isn't charging it either, that is a bit odd.
Was everything working properly until you began flashing things, or is it possible you just did not notice it until now?
EDIT: I misunderstood the OP and posted incorrect advice, please ignore this comment.
Well, before the flash the PDA charged both with the car carger and the regular charger.
But in the past I saw, when I plug the charger into the Mini usb port the PDA's led become orange (you know that's mean the charge) but the battery's power was the same after 2 hours. And now I connected again and the led wasn't change...:S But the usb carged my PDA 100% for the morning...
Well neither the chargers aren't the HTS's official chargers and the PDA isn't charge eith them when I turn of.
But it's charge from the USB. I can't understand it...
Sorry I have no idea, this is out of my league, I'm a noob
Wish I could help.
I have had the exact same issue since six months ago, and MiniDevil is probably correct.
If you look closely on the miniUSB jack on your phone one of the contact (golden) pins should be bent down, rather than up (if you are looking it with your phone's screen facing up). On mine is the rightmost pin.
When this first occurred I went to various repair centers and unfortunately no one could offer me a fix. You should check your local repair centers, maybe you have better luck.
I don't know what works differently from a USB port to a USB AC Charger. Maybe someone can clarify this part.
Good luck to you sir.
- Jim
Thanx all the answers
seriously? the usb works but the ac chargers don't because of the pins?! gahh. the igo might work...they tested it out at an att store for me, i just dont know which it is..i probably have to go back..
So... Yesterday my battery decided to drain really fast. Checked the mA and it was -1137 and when I plug in my charger it decreases still to-500 or more than -2000. When im not using my phone the phone will charge about 5% per hour and stops charging at times. Leave it over noght and it might charge 10%. Same gies for when the phone is turned off and charging. So, is it the usb port or the battery.
The battery drains real fast. The port is clean and the board looks fine when i dissassemble. Usb cable holds tight, when i pull the connector part up then it disconnects.Used multipll cables, sockets, and chargers.
Is it my battery or the port?

I've just posted my solutions to some very similar problems you've described. Not able to to post links but it should be easy to find, just search for [solution]usb port / charging issues.
Have you checked the two copper plates on the under side of the removable plastic unit just above the usb socket. Adjust / manipulating the connection there has solved my charging problems.
Hope this helps. I'm not an expert by a long shot, but if this is not the case, and you have replaced / renewed everything, then I at very least would recommend trying a new battery.

Hi everyone. I was trying to fix my charging cable and had my wires all connected itself and to phone usb port. Now my phone always thinks it is being charged and does not charge with default charger at all. Also it discharges much more quickly. I have a charger with an indicator and the light is shining while plugged to phone, which means that the phone does not close the circuit and always have electricity flowing in and out. I manage to charge it only with more powerful charger as it charges more quickly than the phone discharges.
Anyway, has anyone had a similar issue or knows how to deal with it? Would repair cost a fortune and is it even worth to repair the phone? Could this be just an usb port or some kind of fuse problem - or maybe a motherboard is cooked?
Thanks
My replacement battery (looks the exact same, may be a generic product, though) worked fine for a few days, but then the phone started saying: "Battery can't charge right now," and the batter level just stayed the same with the cable connected. I tried various cables and adapters; the situation didn't change. I read that maybe a missing temperature sensor could be the issue. Does anybody have experience related to the issue?

Battery and rom are probably not the problem, i've solved this with replacement of USB C charging port in the phone.
I repeated the process with the same battery, and I haven't had problems in over a year. just took it out, put it back in, and that settled it.
why you replaced the battery, battery dead ?
what are the symptoms ?
because my phone is restarting itself , while charging it shows 90 percent and so on, its on when charger plugged in and if unplug it will stay on for few min and if i open app or camera it start reboot
I've had the same problem
I've replaced battery with an aliexpress one but after some charges problem came back and I think the problem was about I was charging my phone with the wrong charger (was using the Aukey QC3.0), so I've started to charge my phone only with the genuine charger but with another USB-C cable because the genuine one sucks.
After using the genuine charger the problem never came back and I left the genuine battery on It.
I've noticed that the USB-C port on my phone miss the original standard measures of height and width of the hole, so when I plug the cable It plays a little in the port and this is the cause I don't use the genuine cable.
Guy guys guys...
The answer is simple ^^ (ok not really )
Clean your USB C charging port of your phone... that fixed 3 to 4 times my charging issues, sadly after I had bought several cables /batteries...
So first think you must do before checking any other thing... is getting all the crap that the USB C charging entry point has after so many years/months of usage... it gets quite dirty.
