Does anyone have a good method behind finding out what alarms are setting off my phone and waking it? I had a lot of alarms previously and took some things off of being disabled and it has since reduced but I still have a lot in android. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I've done a lot of searching, on here and on google in general, and still can't find a solution. Maybe I'm just not asking the right question...
I'm using Dutty's newest ROM, but had this problem when I was just using the stock Tilt ROM as well as when using an older one of Dutty's ROM's. I have the screen turn off after about 20 seconds, and when it comes back up the time is always off. It updates properly after about 1-2 seconds, but it's incorrect for the entire time the screen is off. This isn't normally an issue unless I want to use an alarm. With the clock not updating itself continually (like every non-PDA-type phone I've ever used), alarms don't work at all. I installed S2U2, and even with the screen waking up, once I hit the slide to unlock the phone that's when the clock updates. Not before. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Or am I missing something so obvious that I'm bound to get flamed for the question? Thanks in advance!
Mine does this too, stock AT&T Tilt OS for now, but my alarms and PhoneWeaver have absolutely no problem going off at their appropriate time. It looks like it's just not updating the video card with the current time while sleeping since the display isn't on. Not too much of a problem for me as I'm accustomed to wearing a watch, but I can see how it would be annoying for others.
Seems to me that's just normal for any computer when sleeping. My Vista machine and my Apple machines all do that too. When you wake them from sleep, the clock display is behind, but instantly updates once the system is back on line. The internal clock is still running the whole time of course, just the display does not update since the graphics system and cpu are in suspended mode.
Ya' can't very well have a computer go into power saving suspended mode AND keep real time things like screen graphics updated constantly.
P.S. My Tilt does it too, but alarms and reminders all work just fine.

I agree that the screen shouldn't need to be updated constantly during power saving mode, but my problem is that none of the alarms work, and I'm just assuming that the system clock isn't updated because the display is so far behind. I'll do some more testing today... thanks for the replies so far!
Hi, I've been trying to track down the issue with BetterBatteryStats+ and Wakelock Dectector FULL and found that the issue is with the bluetooth_pm wakelock. I've been googling about and people only mention it but nothing gets resolved. There's only one mention of it on XDA but no reply:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63955981&postcount=29777
What makes it's annoying is that when it goes away randomly and I get to enjoy the damn Doze feature but only to have it come back randomly. And this is when bluetooth is on. I haven't not factory reset the phone and restarting the phone may or may not have temporarily fixed.
What's is the damn "bluetooth_pm" wakelock? There's not a lot of info on this wakelock and I can't use Amplify or DisableServices to reduce or get rid of outright. I hope someone has a solution this issue.
EDIT: It's a Kernel wakelock.
Sorry for bumping this again. I have still not found the reason of why it happens aside from disconnecting from my devices (I have my phone connected to my lg tone headphones, motorola headset, my car, and my android wear watch).
Is there a way to get into the kernel and just kill it manually or set a timeout setting to kill it. The only way for me to fix it is to restart my phone; I shouldn't have to restart to get rid of this annoying wakelock.
I really hope to hear a response soon. Thanks in advance.
Bumping one more time, now with logs if ANYONE is just willing to look into this and find out what's wrong: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66119017&postcount=30423
In this post attachment, it happened again just 15 minutes ago. Please, someone has to be technical to read the logs better than what I can come up to determine what's wrong with it or provide an app to find and kill this wakelock without having to restart the bloody phone.
I know this is super old but I found out that GasBuddy of all things was causing the damn bluetooth wakelock. Not a damn clue aside some saying it uses bluetooth for location but REALLY?
Luckily, using Greenify fixed the problem
I had the exact same symptoms and phone, did the same steps and found the same thing is as you. GasBuddy for some reason causing bluetooth wakelock. Greenify, as you experience, 'cured' the problem. Interestingly, after dealing with this issue for months, after only a few hours of verifying a fix, GasBuddy updated (with new logo) and while somewhat improved the wakelock issue, it's still an issue. Unfortunately, Greenify seems to have a more difficult time hibernating the new version...
This is kind of a big bump, but I'm having the bluetooth_pm wake lock on my G6 and Google doesn't show me much except for this thread. I don't have GasBuddy on my phone. Has anyone experienced the bluetooth_pm wakelock and figured out a way to get rid of it?

I am having same issue on my Verizon g6. I lose about 10% battery per hour when screen is off. Phone wake locks through the roof.
Hey Guys, I noticed something weird. Since about 2 weeks my notifications are not live anymore. They come all in one go (emails, taptalk, whatsapp). I am on Data. I don't know what triggered this as I was just grateful that deep sleep was fixed. Any ideas what is limiting the push notifications? I am on 6.0.1
Its like the phone is stuck in battery saving mood? any ideas guys?
Is anyone having issues with their notifications not coming through, or coming in super late, or having the same notifications coming up over and over? I'm expecting all three problems, it seems to be happening with every app for me except for calls and text. I factory reset the phone but that didn't fix the issue. If I restart the phone, then all my notifications that haven't physically gone into the app to check start pouring in. No idea what could be causing the issue and it's really starting to piss me off. I have already sent my phone in for repair cause my LTE data stopped working for no reason. I don't think both issues are related as I do have LTE data after they replaced some part.
Would appreciate if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks.

I had notification delays with gmail app, fixed it by turning off battery optimization for this specific app.

Some people may have battery saver on and this may cause late notifications. Also check in settings "auto sync", under accounts. I did have some late notifications issue with Gmail app and do know battery optimization usually is the cause, but it went away in couple of days after I bought the phone.
Thank you for the suggestions. I ended up turning on high performance mode. Let's see if that helps.

How'd this work out for you? This phone is horrible for notifications for me. It constantly doesn't send them until I actually pick up my phone, then suddenly I'll get 5-10 notifications at once. I've turned off EVERY bit of power saving that I can find. I only run in high performance mode 24/7 with all adaptive battery, power optimization, auto app sleep, etc turned completely off. I've also tried disabling all power saving and sleep in the specific app pages as well. I need to be more observant, but I think this is mostly with push notifications (ex, my 2FA app for work) rather than apps with timers to check for updates occasionally. I also have an issue with my wifi disconnecting while the screen is off sometimes which is highly annoying since my home presence detection is based on my phone being on the wifi, though last time it started doing that a reboot fixed it.
Unfortunately, a search proves that this is a widespread issue. At this point I've pretty much given up on this phone and am looking to replace it as soon as I find a suitable alternative. I'm just curious if it's a Samsung issue or a Pie issue that will occur on other phones as well.

Seems to be a general issue with android. Mine have gotten better recently. In addition to turning off battery optimization for any apps I want notifications for, i have done the following:
1. Wiped cache (under settings/app/storage), then rebooted into recovery mode and wiped the cache partition.
2. Gone into the setting and made sure apps I want notifications for are allowed to run in the background (settings/apps/select app for notifications/battery).
3. Allowed to run in background when on mobile networks (settings/apps/select app/mobile data/Allow Background Data Usage.
4. Gone into messages/settings/more settings/push message/changed toggle from "Prompt" to "Always".
Hope that helps.

Thanks, I'll give some of those a try. I also got a VZW update with the May security patch among other things right after I posted that, so we'll see if that helps at all also.

It's gotten better for me. I enabled high performance mode but I had to keep going in and checking it a couple days after still even though it was enabled. Been a couple weeks now and the notifications I was missing before all seems to be coming in fine now. Time will tell though I guess lol
Are you also having trouble with apps updating? That was another problem I was having where I'd see apps needing to update, I'd start "update all" one app would download and then get stuck at 99% and it would just stay like that for about 40mins and prevent the other apps from updating. Then finally when it would finish the next one would do the same. It would literally take hours upon hours for 12 apps to update when it should only take a couple mins. That issue seems to be fixed for me now too.
This question is 2 fold related to delayed notifications.
I keep noticing that some of my notifications are coming in delayed, specifically Twitch notifications, sometimes they just stop coming in until I wake my phone and then they will all come in at once. I've already disabled android adaptive notifications but it still seems to be happening.
Also speaking of android adaptive notifications, even though I turned it off it seems to keep being re-enabled every couple days. Is there a way to prevent this?

I'm not sure if we can prevent it. But I have similar problem with DND mode where I set it to block everything but alarms and every now and then I see media sounds also allowed. Which makes the DND pointless...

Well that's unfortunate. Probably my least favorite feature since upgrading to a phone with Android 10. I understand how it could be useful for some but for how I use my phone its completely counter intuitive.
