I've tried http://m.romzj.com/rom/42627.htm Flyme OS 4.5.4.3 with 5.1.1 Open Gapps but got as far as WiFi setup then reboots. Anyone else? This looks awesome very smooth but don't stick
Try to use another GApps.
Or don't use GApps at all.
Now I'm downloading latest Flyme to test it (I hate chineese servers), coz I don't know if it contains GApps. If it is a chineese version of Flyme (that is very reasonable), just try another GApps package. Or try to install older version of Flyme.
Does it boot normally without gapps?
No it doesn't boot normally I tried both ways I get as far as WiFi it reboots. With or without gapps it reboots
i've tried with latest version flymeos, and my wifi is working properly without issues, now i got a some problem, how to get root with this rom, lol.. tried with twrp and flyme os account but still not working, lol

Well, I've tried to install it. Installation was suspiciously long, but after it my phone booted normally without gapps. Then I installed Banks Gapps and also had no reboots.
Maybe you miss some wipes before rom installation? I wiped Data, Cache, Dalvik and System.
Maybe Flyme's kernel haven't installed properly. Try to get it from rom zip and flash manually via fastboot.

I used minimal gapps package which doesn't contain google+.
Also, I've mentioned wrong gapps package. Actually I used this one: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24345424848488210

Well, you open ROM zip, then you'll see there a list of directories and files. You need to exctract boot.img.
Then you need to connect your phone to PC and flash that file with command: fastboot flash boot boot.img.
I'm not sure about that due to Moto's weird process of flashing via fastboot.
Try to do this:
1. Wipe system, cache, dalvik and data;
2. Install ROM;
3. Install this gapps package: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24345424848488210
4. Reboot.
Then, if phone won't boot, proceed all steps again and then flash kernel manually.
I hope it will help.

Well, I've looked through installation script and I see no reason for this ROM not to be compatible with XT1052.
EDIT: i've downloaded again the file but i still get e:Error executing updater binary in zip /sdcard/flymeOS+4.5.3R.zip'
should i try to flash an older version of twrp? i'm on 2.8.7 right now..
Funny thing is when it optimizes it doesn't reboot. I might have to try the flash kernel after rom gapps and reboot. I got it to where I see home screen all the apps but when I try to sign in my account it reboots
Can I flashify the boot img of rom? After flashing rom and gapps? Then reboot? Do I just extract boot img file from rom or extract content of boot img too? Can in TE too instead of fastboot

If you’ve already flashed a previous community build, you will receive this update via OTA. If you haven’t, you will need to flash this build by ADB sideload. Your data my transfer, but there is always a possibility of losing personal data, so be sure to backup all of your important data before flashing this build. As stated before, once you flash the community build, you’ll continue getting community OTAs.
- Feedback on UI/UX: https://goo.gl/forms/BioIINdnCsUhTauc2
- Bug reporting sheet: https://goo.gl/forms/P2DPrEqQWIafmyyE3
Note: If you flash this community build, you’ll receive community OTAs (but not official OTAs). You’ll need to manually (clean) flash back to our official builds to continue receiving official OTAs. Rolling back to official OxygenOS versions require wiping data and cache.

If you come from Official Build or CB Dirty Flash would work fine
Flash the Updated TWRP 3.0.2-22 either image flash via existing TWRP or via Fastboot Mode
1. Boot into Modified Recovery:
2. Wipe Dalvik & Cache
3. Flash the full 3.5.4 Zip
4. Wipe Dalvik and Cache
5. Flash SuperSu (Optional if you need to maintain root)
6. Flash Xposed, Kernel any other mods (Optional)
7. Flash Modified TWRP as image (even if you are already on it)
8. Reboot to into recovery directly to verify TWRP still functional (this will prevent recovery from being overwrite by the stock)
9. Reboot System & Profit
PS: System will reboot twice if you flashed SuperSU, Dont Panic
If you come from a custom rom, i recommend a clean flash.
After the recovery update by @eng.stk we no longer need to run the CB 3.5.4 with 3.2.X firmware and the latest Kernel is r137 which can be flashed.
Check out his download page here and always flash the latest

What I did for installing 3.5.4 :
I was on 3.5.3, using Twrp 3.0.2-19
I downloaded 3.5.4 and clean flashed using TWRP 3.0.2.19.
After installation,I pressed Reboot. I got a warning : No system installed, still I slided for reboot. I went black but I forced phone to restart again. after a few mins, It rebooted.
I went back to Recovery, but it cleared TWRP and installed Stock recovery, again I flashed TWRP 3.0.2.19, and installed SuperSu.
Now, everything is allright.

Is it still needed to use the modified TWRP?
What would happen if I install official TWRP after having installed and booted 3.5.4?
Would it break something or the system would boot normally?

Hi there! Is it possible to flash xiaomi.eu rom over resurection remix rom (or any LOS based rom) with twrp or do i have to fastboot flash china rom first and modified boot.img as written on xiaomi.eu forum ?
You don't need to do anything. Just do a clean flash.
Ok so a simple factory reset and flash latest xiaomi.eu would work? Why they ask to flash boot.img on eu forums?
They said you don't need to flash boot.img anymore. I even wipe /system manually.
yes you can. just don't wipe system. wipe only Data, Dalvik cache & cache before flashing eu rom.
---------- Post added at 10:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:17 AM ----------
And if you wipe system , your phone will be on bootloop.
Thx to all, did a factory reset and install xiaomi.eu without issue
As we know we have a few treble Roms available for our device. But they are not stable at all in terms of the camera.they could be faster and smoother than the stock 7.0.
20 mpx Huawei mate 9 camera has a lot of features but those Roms lack that privilege.
Actually, we have a great Nougat Roms as well. Which I prefer - fromfuture-.
I'll be using this stock rom until a new AOSP 8.1 or RR Remix will be released.

I have RR and rooted though Magisk with SafetyNet passed.
All in all it's very nice, sometimes my phone makes noises even if it's in "Not disturb" Mode. But that only happened twice till now.
Everything else works! GPS, Wifi. 4g, Bluetooth etc. Only Android Auto doesnt work for me, but that's not that important.

So fromfuture is Nougat based?
Then you need to upgrade to Oreo first. Just search the forum, there are several Guides.
After that extract the stock boot.img, kernel.img and recovery_ramdisk.img from your stock rom using Huawei Update Extractor (settings->uncheck checks)
Than simply flash the three Images through fastboot on your phone and do a Data Format + Cache Wip ein Stock Recovery.
Than flash RR Rom with fastboot flash system and Twrp if you want.

If you have your data backup already you can easily go to RR and back to Stock if you want with this method.
First you need to unlock your bootloader with the code you will get/got from Huawei. See here.
1. Go to firmware database and find your stock firmware (which you are using atm)
2. Download the FullOTA-MF-PV (click on "update" to download) and unzip it.
3. Download Huawei Update Extractor
4. Open Huawei Update Extractor and go to settings --> Disable both checksum boxes
5. Import your update.app File
6. Mark kernel.img, ramdisk.img and recovery_ramdis.img and rightclick -> Extract Selected
7. Flash them trought fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash kernel kernel.img
fastboot flash ramdisk ramdisk.img
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img
8. Go to Recovery and do a factory reset and cache wipe
9. Flash your RR rom system.img with
Code:
fastboot flash system system.img
10. Flash TWRP if you want
Code:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp.img
Get TWRP here: https://mega.nz/#!pT5lRA7Y!G5DhJdsR-...fHGzN8OOu9aCko or here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-0-oreo-t3734967

12. Optional Root with Magisk 15.4 (see here) --> Simply flash the zip in TWRP and install Magisk Manager App (if you fail in SafetyNet Test flash after Reboot this in TWRP)
13. Update in Magisk Manger App directly to Magisk 16

Everything is given there, just read and follow install instructions:
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/9-4-18.50189/
Get TWRP 1102 or 1217 to flash the EU rom and install 1227 version once new rom is flashed but before reboot system.
That means when eu rom installation will finish, then I should reboot to fastboot instead of reboot to system? And then again flash twrp 1227?

For WEEKLY EU DEV rom installed with1102/1217 twrp:
if you reboot to system the rom will install well but you loose TWRP 1102/1217. AND you will not be able to reflash the new one because partition are modified with this new rom version ''(from 2018/12/27).
That' why you must install 1227 before rebooting in the rom system.
Either with fastboot or in recovery you are still in... install 1227 image.
take a coffee!
EDIT: THIS IS ONLY IF YOU INSTALL WEEKLY EU DEV ROM!
for stable you MUST keep 1102 and you can reboot dry.

U have to flaah 8.7.12 then update it
Thank me later

One is suggesting me to flash twrp 1227 and then flash eu 8.7.12. then update to latest eu rom. Is it ok? Will it make any problem flashing twrp 1227 in my latest Chinese stable?

-1227 TWRP will NEVER boot on ANY available STABLE ROM (CHINA or EU). Try it, no risk.

I have no experience about this flashing rom. I want to follow your procedure. But one confusion. When eu rom will successfully installed, then should I go to "reboot>reboot to bootloader" in twrp? And then flash twrp 1227 with the same process of installing twrp 1102/1217?

you stay in TWRP and install "IMAGE" of 1227.
- INSTALL/ install image/find 1227.img file/select it and select RECOVERY position in order to place it well.
But if you don't do that and reboot the rom, no problem only TWRP will be missing.

OK!
TWRP 1102
FORMAT DATA /yes in WIPE
LOAD EU WEEKLY DEV ROM FLASH ZIP into phone memory
FLASH latest EU weekly DEV
INSTALL 1227 TWRP before reboot the rom. (for future install)
EDIT:
Format data coming from Official rom is mandatory because this rom is encrypted and it cannot be erased during flashing operation.
Save your data before doing format data!

This was not my question. Please clear my confusion. Can I flash twrp 1227 with twrp recovery 1102? Or I should again flash 1227 with pc? If i should use pc, can I go to bootloader page to flash 1227? Or can I flash 1227 staying twrp recovery without rebooting bootloader?
EDIT: Oh sorry. I have understood. Thanks for your help.
I am getting tired of trying EU rom now. Everytime I tried, like whatever they said here and eu forum.. I always end up in stuck to fastboot mode.. Never boot the eu rom.
first flash 9.5.11 fastboot rom, then flast twrp v1102,
in twrp formate data and wiper systems and others,
flash eu rom from otg.
thats all.

Give this method a try. I followed these steps with the help of @lolo9393
Following are the procedures that i followed to boot up Miui Eu
- Flash official 8.12.13 (Dev Fastboot Rom) through MiFlash.
- Flash TWRP 1102
- Clean Data
- Push/ Copy and Flash 8.12.20( EU Rom), it booted up finally without redirecting to Fastboot.
- Update 8.12.20 to latest available from system updater.
- Now there won't be any recovery or we aren't able to enter into available recovery even though the system boots.
- Flash TWRP 1227.
need help, I tried to flash ROM eu 9.5.23 using 9.2.16 dev ROM as the base. twrp used 1227 and after rebooting enter fastboot mode.
twrp 1102 and 1217 do not want to enter recovery only the MI display

Flash OREO fastboot official rom 9.5.10 or 11 with MIFLASH in order to reset the partition. Install 1217 TWRP and FORMAT DATA/yes (in TWRP wipe section) Do it it twice.
Reboot recovery and load EU rom from you computer with explorer.
Install EU rom and 1227 TWRP BEFORE rebooting the rom.
Welcome to the club!
