Mi 9 back issues - Xiaomi Mi 9 Questions & Answers

Hi,
My device's back isn't fully flush with it's body, like I can stick a nail in there and almost pry it.
Is this a problem? What should I do?

[Q] [SOLVED] Broken Back Bottom Shield Socket

Hi XDA Community,
due to changing the micro sd card of my hd7 it happens (because of a little bit to strong pulled) that one of the tiny stock clips is broken. Now my bottom back shield is not anymore clipped in on the left top side of the bottom shield.
Is there a way to get a new back bottom shield?
Or has anyone an idea to fix this on my own?
I thought of any industrial glue like 2 component resin. Just a tiny drop and let it dry. But i dont know if i need to get there in anytime in the future. And after fixing it with 2 component resin i will never be able to remove the shield without total destruction.
So guys if anyone has an good idea, i would be really thankful fo rur advice.
nice regards Synergi
you get the back cover anywhere online....but bottom back is not available in the market....:/
I guess u have to use the glue
Or else buy a hard case and don't put the bottom back cover at all....
If you are not going to remove the bottom back cover just seal it with the glue
Ok thx mate, i will stick with the glue.

[Q] Gluing back the back side of the housing

Hello
So, I have a the HTC One M7 and its front cam is damaged... I don't mean like shattered, but it takes horrible photos, all grainy and white... I figured out, that there is alot of dust inside of the camera, so I need to replace it. But here I place this question: How do I glue back the back side of the housing, when I take it down. Do I have to buy new housing, some adhesive or it glues back on with no problem? I would really appriciate any kind of response. Thank you!

The phone is snapped in the housing, no need to glue it. Would strongly recommend to buy a new housing, you'll probably damage it when opening the phone. Make sure you have the right tools before proceeding ( opening tool, screwdrivers, tweezers etc).

Trouble removing back glass

Hi guys,
I'm trying to do a battery replacement but I'm running into a lot of resistance on step one. Getting the glass of my Note5 was a cinch, but no matter how much I hear it, the suction cup won't open up a space to pry open. Anybody else have this problem or a suggestion?
Thanks!

Maze Alpha - Dust in the Main Cam

Hi, i've extreme dust in the main cam of the Maze Alpha. Anyone else have this Problem and have fixed it?
You have to remove back cover, unscrew upper back plate and clean the lenses... Unfortunately the variety will be void (there's a sticker on one screw), probably the 4G antenna will be destroyed (a small copper sticker on the top right corner) and it's a pain in the ... to glue the back cover.
I would suggest, if you still have a warranty or something of that nature, to return it. Another thing is to look for a good technician to do the cleaning of the lens for you. I would advise you not to do the opening of the phone by yourself.

How to remove battery with broken adhesive?

Hey guys, so my mi5's digitizer broke and I'm changing it. Anyway I got a problem: while trying to remove the battery both the adhesives broke even before I started pulling them out. Now I'm stuck with the battery glued to the device. I don't want to try to pull it out using tools since I had a bad experience in the past (almost made a hole in a battery), is there anyway I can do it without damaging it? (since it is also pretty new and I don't want to change it). Maybe heating it and using a suction cup could do?
Good Question, I had the same Problem with another phone. I also heated it up with a hair dryer and pulled and carefully out with a plastic pryer tool (no sharp tools here as you stated - had the experience with a galaxy S7 edge that I made a hole into.it and it swollen up immediately...very scary but luckily nothing more happens...)
Good Luck!!
Naily
One way is to heat up adhesive with hair dryer and gently work it out with some plastic tool
