Question Blurry photos at night with front camera - OPPO Find X3 Pro

Hi, I can't take any good picture at night with the front camera. Any little movement to take the picture makes the blurry picture. I can only take a "good" picture if the mobile is in a tripod.
It happens to someone else?
Cheers.

We have a terrible selfie camera. Like most devices BBK. You can get a good picture only by using GCAM.

You got the pictures the wrong way around but it is definately an awful picture, doesn't look normal to me

I compared pics taken from my old HTC Sensation with One.
Can you take a look and tell is it broken or not?

Only sharp and detailed pictures i can get in macro mode. All others are crappy.
How to focus manually? Tap screen? I tried that. It is not any better.

Camera focus

Has anyone noticed that on photos a big part of a photo is not in focus, just only that part on which you click for it to focus... I have these situation a lot happening.. And it is not aperture/portrait mode... One example is attached..
dont use Photo with AI.

I am not using AI, that issue is with every photo
Physics. It‘s f1.6 on a fairly large sensor.
Same here, too shallow depth of field caused by f1.6, you can avoid it by taking a step back and zooming in a bit to get the same picture..
For a lot of people this feature is what makes the camera on this phone so good.

Indeed. More DSLR-like behavior is always welcome. I love being able to have shallow DOF it's a big plus and makes photos look so much better.
That's terrible! There's no option to select the focus that you want... If a take a shot from a hamburger, only the meat is focused... It only focus the center of the pic.
Try using the wide angle lens for such closeups

Image blur with rear camera

Today I did some shots outside and unfortunately I got a bit disappointed with my new phone. Why do I get blurry images with the rear camera?
Look at my hair or jacket that looks totally blurred and also my hands. Yes I was moving in that picture towards the camera. That was not a fast movement more like walking super slow, such a pic would definitely not look that blurry on an iPhone.
Sorry I just made an account and can't post outside links as long as I dont have 10 comments, so just type: imgur dot com/a/dVvF4Zo
There are many reviews online that have photographed moving objects much better than I did and there is even one review I saw with a picture taken of a skiing person without any motion blur. So what am I doing wrong?
In this shot the camera AI was turned on and the photo resolution set to 10MP.
Any sample photo about your issues?

It's on 9.1.0.178
Now I read that you was moving, so it could be a problem if the device was taking a HDR picture...
Deleted sorry wrong forum!!

Photo quality

Say "cheese", then rate this thread to express how photos taken with the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) come out. A higher rating indicates that photos offer rich color (without over-saturating), sharp detail (with all subjects in-focus), and appropriate exposure (with even lighting).
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
So i took few photos.

My pro zoom edition just arrived 3 days ago. Before I had the exynos s8+. I am waiting for the bootloader unlock by xiaiomi, but I can already tell you that even with china rom and stock camera it is a big jump
Just few point and shoot pictures (k30 pro zoom edition) with stock miui camera.

Hello Team
Can anybody share few photos of example documents? [newspaper, school-book, book, etc]. Taken indoor [so it means under "mean" light conditions].
For me it is interested how this phone handle such photos.
One thing Ive noticed when I was taking photos of documents/book pages was that it blurs on the periphery. It's clear on the center, but becomes *very subtly* blurry on the outward edges as if you've moved your hand for a split second. I shoot in a well lit room with light (bulb and natural light, and I shoot from the above (natch) so Im not sure why the focus is not uniform and. has blurring on the edges. Also using gcam btw: Twichaya2.

I noticed the same thing in the photo comparison tool from gsmarena.com: https://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=5&idPhone1=10220&idPhone2=10097&idPhone3=9816
I wonder how pronounced the effect is in real world usage, keeping in mind that for some photos of humans, the face is at the edge of the frame.
this is why I asked for real examples. I have seen the same "issue" with many other cameras.

General Got Photos?

It was a quick action, stopped by the side of the road to get some S21U pics, freezing wind prevented me from doing some more. So, the zoom is fine - my first judgement.
I got a couple good shots of the moon tonight, while it was low and yellowish. In the 2nd photo, some clouds started rolling in.
I am really not impressed by the image quality. The pictures are way to oversharpenned. At a point where it is detrimental to the picture. I can not understand why Samsung, in 2021, with a so called 108 megapixels camera, oversharpens so much the pictures.
Here is the moon in NYC, used S21 Ultra.

The camera setup is new, let's hope Samsung can tweak things up to get better outcome. The zoom is great though.
There is some sharpening happening on the 10X if the light is super bright!
