Hey everyone, I've been stuck on the g1 "rainbow" screen.
Yesterday, my phone died on me and then i decided to leave it off until the next day. Today, I plugged in the charger but when i try to turn on the g1, it goes to the rainbow screen and displays "serial0" near the middle.
I've tried installing the rc33 dreaimg.nbh ... and it DOES install, but when i restart the phone, it just goes back to the same rainbow screen.
What can i do?!! Please help.
If it's of any importance, the rainbow screen also displays:
DREA100 PVT 32B
HBOOT-0.85.0000
CPLD-4
RADIO-1.22.12.29

I'm no expect on the G1
But today my phone fell in the water by accident
After much drying with a hair dryer and praying to god/allah and every single god, It managed to turn on
But it's on a scrren that has the phne and a exclamation mark with a white rectangle around it.
Anyone knows what this? Thanks
white rectangle?
try pressing alt+w on that screen and see if it does anything, then try pulling the battery and turn it on with the camera+power for the bootloader and try to use the rc29 dreaimg.nbh, you can get it from the sticky posted by fingerlickin at the type of this page
I haven't really used my Kaiser in a while.
Today I decided to turn it on and what I get is this screen and it says:
KAIS1*0
SPL-3.29.Hard
CPLD-8
Serial
I haven't messed with this phone in a long time but I did upgrade the room a long time ago. Forgive me if it is a stupid question, but this surprised me.
Oh i tried reseting and hard reseting but nothing seems to work....
Thanks
Kaiser Stuck at Bootloader (aka Tri Color or Red, Green, Blue Screen)? Solutions Here
If still have problems after read info, post in that thread.
Thread closed.
Recently I have bought a used X1. One day, when the battery died, after charging it, a screen with 4 colour bars appeared (red, green, blue and white). There are also some signs on the screen:
KOVS110
SPL-0.72.01iNex
MicroP1-787
MicroP2-707.
On the bottom on the screen it says "Serial".
I cannot pass through this screen to get to use my phone as always. I tried to google this on the net but found some unrelated ROM-topics that didn't help me anyway, as I'm green as grass in these things.
Any ideas what to do? Thanks in advance for your help.
This might help. Disconnect the USB cable, remove the battery, then replace it and turn on the phone. As long as there is no problem, it should boot normally. But, the phone doesn't go into boot loader on it's own usually.
Well, that didn't help. Btw, what did you mean: "disconnect usb cable"? My phone wasn't in any way connected to a PC.
have you tried a hardreset?
everytime i factory reset and reboot on my g1 a red green blue and white screen comes up with serial0 in the middle, not sure what to do, any help?

sounds like you have no recovery.. is your device rooted? try holding home and power to turn it on (when its powered off of coarse)
ive tried that, it goes straight to the same creen with serial0 in the middle
oOo uhhhhmmmmm i dunno if that means its bricked..? i hope not.. wat have you tried so far? and wat else does it say when you get it on? it only says serial 0??
anything i try to do, it ends up at the screen that i said before with 4 different setions horizontally, red, green, blue and white. on the red portion there are yellow letters that read as such:
"DREA100 PVT 32B
HBOOT-0.95.0000
CPLD-4
RADIO-2.22.23.02
SEP 2 2008"
then on the middle of there is a white strip across that says "serial0" in black letters and thats all.
i havent tried much, just read a few suggestions on other websites with different button combos to get it to work but they didnt. i also took it to the t-mobile store and the guy who helped me did a factory reset and when he rebooted it, it went straight back to this screen and he said he didnt know what to do

Same problem here! I really have no idea whats happening. BTW I have replaced flex cable, not sure if that has to do with it. Bluetooth works fine.
no problem for me in cm7, or miui and .... maybe its hardware problem.
