Try using the Kindle Fire First Aid.

Use Root Many Android

I tried that and it does not even recognize the tablet...

I used it. Select option 3. Worked like a charm.

I will give it a shot now. I have to charge the kindle again, but just to check. When it is on the boot logo of Kindle Fire and it is looping, you just hooked the usb in and then hit option 3?

I never had a loop. Shut down the Kindle (hold power button) . Make sure you have a fb cable & boot into fb mode. I would go from there.

So I am currently waiting for my new fastboot cable to come in because my old one apparently is broken...

So I have the fastboot cable, and the kindle is now just starting up and stuck at fastboot logo screen. The utilities are not doing anything either. The First Aide is just stuck on a screen that says Daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037. daemon started successfully, but still no results. I even tried re-installing my kindle fire drivers. The device is coming up as Tate-PVT-08 on my driver list now. I think i messed it up more, but i am unsure.

You need to get root privileges. I don't know if you can do that in fb mode.
Boot the kf normally & if Windows recognizes it, run root many Android. Use option 3.

Even if I can not access the Kindle. It is stuck on on the boot logo but when I plug the fb cord it gets stuck on the fb logo screen. lol

It's not "stuck" on the fb logo screen, it's in fb mode. That's a good sign, but you need to try to root it from fb mode. That's the first step.

[Q] Brick Kindle fire HD 7", red screen after Fireflash.

hello everyboddy !
I have a rooted kindle fire HD 7" with the last update and i have attempted to install:
2nd bootloader
Fireflash
TWRP
CM10
But... when i have try to install twrp with Fireflash a red screen is a appeared after the reboot.
I'm a noob and i'm a little panicked !!! Can you help me to unbrick my kindle, i'm ready to make evrything but i have only in my hand my kindle and the original cable.
Please XDA's community !!!
buy a fastboot cable
this helped me with a red screen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1951254
The reason this happened was because you was on 7.3x of the AmazonOS, you needed to flash the 7.23 bootloader first before installing the second bootloader. Only a factory cable and the restore tool will save you now.
I did the same thing and the fast boot cable saved me. Good investment.

Also I suggest using hashcodes method rather than using fireflash to install TWRP and cm 10.1. It may look complicated but I've used his method on 3 kindles successfully and I'm a bit of a noob Just make sure you open the command window from the folder in which you saved the files - shift +right click mouse >open command window here. Sorry if you already know this. It just took me ages to figure that out lol! The link is here:

Actually, I've used the FireFlash method twice now on my Kindle Fire HD, and it's worked flawlessly both times, and takes less than five minutes to complete. But hey, whatever works.
i was also stuck in a red screen loop!
you really need a factory cable
what i did was turn off the kindle fire hd then plug in the cable, i turned on the device, and boom just use the toolkit which you can find on the development thread
i hope this helps!!! i was so frustrated as to why it wouldnt work
also you must have the kindle fire adb drivers.
ONLY FOR THOSE WITH A BROKEN POWER BUTTON: and if you dont happen to have a functioning power button like me, wait until the tablet dies, after just plug in the tablet to your pc with the factory cable that way when it finally recharges it boots up in fastboot, otherwise your tablet will be in red screen forever

Because if you brick it to the point that its in boot loops or red boot loader screen that command is useless. The command is useful if your not bricked though.

Specifically owners of the Kindle Fire 2nd edition and Kindle Fire HD 7" should get fastboot cables.
The Kindle Fire HD 8.9" does NOT need a fastboot cable as that mode is automatically detected by the stock bootloader when a fastboot command is entered before turning the device on.
If you are not worried about bricking your device for a few week period while waiting for a fast boot cable that you may never need then this command is very useful, but if it has too be fixed yesterday then you should not attempt much without a fast boot cable. I built one for fun but there is no way I would have paid for one when I may never need it.

If you have a KFHD 7" I think you should invest in a fastboot cable anyway. I picked one up off eBay for $4.45 including shipping and it came in a few days. I didn't think I would need it until I ended up bricking my device when I tried to apply a wallpaper fix. Only used it a few times, but it helped me load CM10.1 with confidence.

Holy crap! Thank the Gods! I was stuck in a strange bootloop that kept refreshing the Teamwin logo, and that's all it'd do. I was able to successfully install drivers and enable adb. I tried almost every solution (without a factory cable or fastboot capabilities) to reflash the recovery image. Thanks to this, I think I just got my kindle out of a bricked state. Will check back if successful.
Hi i have bricked my kindle fire hd 7 generation 2 tablet. It is not turning on....no changes on screen. Its heating up when connected to charger but not connecting to pc or showing any sign of life. I tried a fastboot cable also
Ugh, I'm the worst. Just bricked the Kindle Fire HD 7" (2013) 3rd Generation trying to Debloat apps which constantly were popping up in the background and crashing Star Wars Heroes two-three times per hour. I was side-loading those apps using "Amazon Fire Tablet Tool" from here at Rootjunky.com
Copied the files over using my regular plain old (NOT fastboot) USB cable and things sort of worked for the past month, downloading various APKs and installing from my Windows 10 Pro desktop pc. But now i'm dead in the water. Tried pressing and holding power & volume for 30-45 seconds to force a reset, but didn't seem to cure the issue. Still stuck at "kindle fire" load screen.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If you have twrp installed and the blue kindle boot screen just hit volume down and use the side load feature. But if your fastboot is giving u a problem where u can't hit update driver I would assume it would be because windows is already searching for one still? If so tell windows to skip obtaining from windows update and it finish sooner so u can try to update it manually.

Hi Baconrind. Screwing one’s device is a good opportunity to learn new things. At least this is what happened to me and I’m glad I did. A couple of months ago I bought a new KFHD7. I spend "wonderful " weeks as the happy owner of a KFHD7 until I started to discover the shortcomings of same, so I started reading xda-developers’ stuff to try to customise the device. First I rooted it to be able to install Google Play Store. The idea was to stay as close to stock as possible. Unfortunately I lost root with the first Amazon OTA update, then I decided to install a second bootloader, TWRP, etc. To do that I followed Hashcode’s method Kindle Fire 2nd-bootloader + TWRP for the Kindle Fire HD 7 but at some point I bricked :crying: my device. I was stuck at the Kindle Fire logo. I spent hours browsing through xda-developers and discovered that the first thing to do was to get a fastboot cable. I did not have the patience to wait for it to come from China or wherever they make them, so I found a couple of posts on the xda forum here and here. I made my own even my soldering capabilities are quite limited. I shut down the KFHD7 and plugged the “fastboot” cable to the PC and then to the Kindle, a couple of seconds later I could see the fastboot logo. Once I saw the fastboot logo I unplugged it and used the regular data transfer cable instead. Before I started the unbricking process proper I downloaded and installed this tool: KFHD_SRT_v1.3.5.-7.3. I followed the onscreen indications and could reset my KFHD7 back to its original state. Good luck.

Ive never had a Kindle Fire before so not really sure what to do tried connecting it to my Laptop but nothing shows up i.e installs etc. I don't know if it would be bricked or a software fault and tried Power and Volume Up and Down to see if there is a recovery system but they isn't.

Right click the device, hit update drivers, download the drivers in my signature, and extract them, point the update device window to where you extracted my drivers and let it install them, if you are on windows 8 you will have to disable driver signature enforcement first. Once the drivers are installed I would suggest trying a simple
Code:
fastboot -i 0x1949 reboot
that might kick it out of fastboot. Tell me how it goes.

Hello! First of all, i'm kind of a noob as far as kindle development issues concern, but i managed to install custom roms before (in fact, my brick problema began when i tried to upgrade to CM11 from goo.im). I am really desperate right now because i followed all the instructions in several threads but nothing helped me so far.
Here is my situation:
My kindle fire hd 7" is stuck at Fastboot mode after my failed attempt to upgrade from CM10.1 to CM11. My computer recognizes it as Tate-PVT-08 but it's not accepting any fastboot commands, except for "fastboot -i 0x1949 reboot". When i run this command, my kindle actually "reboots" but goes into fatboot mode again and again. When in "cmd", it doesn't recognize the devices either, but when run command "getvar" shows Tate-PVT-08. In conclusión, i want to know if there is a problema with the instalation of cmd in my PC, or if you can recommend any tool to restore my Tablet, even if it means going back to stock OS.
Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

If you see the blue TWRP there may be hope without a doing a factory reset. Press the power button for 30 seconds and power down the KFHD7. Now hit power to turn the Kindle on and as soon as you see the yellow Kindle boot animation hold the volume rocker up and continue to hold it there until until you see the blue TWRP boot animation and continue pressing for three seconds, then release. If you can get into TWRP that might be to your advantage because you can adb.sideload a ROM onto TWRP flash it and go on with it from there. KFFA has been down off and on. It was once a great tool but it needs updated and the Drop Box account associated with it is down at the momnent.

Mr LinearEquation, thank you so much for your advice.
Following a different thread i managed to boot into TWRP by flashing images of "Freedom Boot" and TWRP itself via fastboot commands. Now in theory i can flash a .zip of any ROM but the thing is that i cannot load zips to the Tablet. even though it's recognized now as KINDLE instead of Tate-PVT-08 in the Device Manager, i'm not able to see the kindle as a Pop-up window where you can drag-and-drop files to the Tablet.
The question is: How do i push a ROM via adb as you mentioned in your previous message? Do you know which file do i need and the proper command to push it?
Kindly Regards.

Hi I locked mine up also and used a program called
Demo Mode Restore. Basically you shut off your kindle and unplug the charge/data cable run the program and click enter once then says plug you kindle in and when it boots the program catches it before it starts up and all you have to do is follow the directions and when it restarts its like when you first took it out of the box
You`ll have to do a search for Demo Mode Restore
Hope this help. God Bless )

[Q] Kindle Fire HD 7" Bricked and stuck in boot loop

Ok, so I was tampering with my kindle around January this year and I *thought* I was deleting a rom system, but only found out I deleted the system.img. I know i'm an idiot, but I finally got a fastboot cable which came yesterday. Everytime I turn on the Kindle it shows the Kindle Fire logo and just keeps blinking and going into a boot loop, and just winds up turning off after 5-10 minutes. I've tried plugging in the fastboot cable(with the Kindle of course), and when i type ADB devices and fastboot devices nothing shows up or it says waiting for device. I have the drivers installed and everything, but it just doesn't show up! It's making me frustrated and i've been googling for solutions but none of them have helped. My computer OS is Windows 8.1, and i've been using this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/kin...-kfhd-img-restore-tool-updated-links-t2948036 to help me.
When you plug in the cable does the same screen show fastboot? You do have the Kindle with the front camera and hdmi out, correct?

I already have those drivers installed. Or should I uninstall any others I have currently and use that one?

I deleted other drivers and installed the one you gave me a link to. It still doesn't show up. I typed in fastboot getvar product it just sits there saying <waiting for device>. I opened a command window in a folder i created with the Kindle SRTool 1.3.5. This is the issue that is stopping me in my tracks, and i just want to get my kindle back to stock.
Can you put it in fastboot and tell me what it says in your device manager?

I've fixed it already, but thank you for your help Red I'm just trying to fix my black wallpaper, but it says it can't find the framework-res.apk.orig and framework-res.tmp.
